Brainela: (mocking laughter)

A small toddler giggled as he gnawed on one of Safari's horns. Another child was gleefully smearing mashed berries on his legs. A couple of the braver kids were even attempting to braid his hair, with absolutely no sense of style.
Child 1: (laughing)
"He's like a big teddy monster!"
Child 2: (jumping on his back)
"Yeah! Monster Teddy!"
Safari's face twitched.
Safari: (muttering to himself)
"A ruler of Planet Sappy reduced to... a plaything. I should be conquering planets, not entertaining brats!"
He attempted to stand, but the weight of at least five children kept him pinned.
Safari: (screaming internally)
"I'm in actual hell."
Zack and Jen's earlier laughter at his expense echoed in his mind, and that only made it worse. He swore he could hear their smug voices even though they were nowhere nearby.
Safari: (thinking)
"Next time I crash-land, I'm making sure it's not on an orphanage."
The caretaker, noticing his despair, smirked to herself as she stirred a pot of stew.
Caretaker: (grinning)

Back at the demon general's lair, the atmosphere was the complete opposite.
