The once-continuous swarm of zombies seemed to fade as they approached the massive iron gates. It was as if the castle itself had devoured the surrounding dead. Only a tense silence remained.

"End of the road, huh? Figures. Guess the big boss is inside."
Angeleva didn't respond. She simply tilted her head, her violet eyes locked on the towering structure. She could sense it — the oppressive presence within. Safari felt it too.
Without another word, Safari gripped his hammer tighter and charged. His horns gleamed under the pale moonlight as he smashed the castle gates apart in a thunderous explosion.

The sounds of creaking and groaning filled the air. Zombie guards emerged from the shadows, grotesque and deformed. Each step they took released a foul stench. Some dragged rusted weapons, while others bore twisted claws.
Safari: (Grinning)
"About time. Thought you'd never show."
Without hesitation, Safari swung his hammer. The force sent a shockwave through the castle, shattering the nearest zombies. They crumbled like rotted wood. More came, but Safari met them head-on, his brutal strength tearing through their ranks.

Bone and stone alike shattered under his blows. He pushed forward, each strike a relentless display of raw power. The air buzzed with the lingering force of his attacks. Yet despite the destruction, the castle seemed endless.

She finally reached the tower's summit. A massive door stood before her, ancient and decayed. Dark energy seeped through its cracks, distorting the air. Without hesitation, she pushed it open, revealing a vast chamber.
A twisted throne of bones stood at the center. Seated upon it was a monstrous figure — Zombie King Dare. His skeletal form was clad in tattered black robes, adorned with chains and cursed symbols. Glowing green eyes burned with malice.
Dare: (His voice, like grinding stone)
"A fairy dares to stand before me? Foolish creature. You cannot stop what has already begun."
Angeleva's wings flared as she stepped forward, her wand glowing with radiant light.

He charged up the stairs, every step shaking the ancient structure. The dark presence grew heavier with every floor he passed with zombies increasing. He smashed past the zombies.
The twisted throne room shook with the force of battle. Cracks lined the ancient stone as shadows clashed with radiant light. Angeleva's glowing wings flickered with power, and the shattered floor beneath her pulsed with traces of dark magic.
For ten minutes, the fight remained evenly matched.

A black blur barreled into Devil, sending the monstrous king flying. Chunks of stone rained down as Safari skidded to a stop, his massive horns glowing faintly with energy. His crimson eyes locked onto the two kings.

Angeleva, clutching her side, smirked through her pain.

Safari: (Rolling his eyes)
"Tch. Just don't die before I do or I have to come up with an excuse."
