Chapter 112: The Fall of Zozo

Zozo's Eternal Demon Sphere pulsed menacingly, its crimson glow illuminating the shattered remains of the throne room.

The weight of its energy bore down on Safari and his family, every second pushing them closer to collapse. The unity beam had failed, and Angeleva's strength was waning fast.

The air was thick with tension as Zozo sneered. "Your pitiful resistance means nothing. I will crush your so-called unity."

Safari clenched his fists, his breathing heavy. The family was still struggling to recover, their bodies trembling from the recoil. But even as exhaustion threatened to consume him, Safari's heart burned with determination.

"No," Safari growled, his eyes glowing with both devil and fairy energy. "We're not done."

Angeleva weakly lifted her head, her wings wrapped around Safari's back. The draining negative energy of the planet was pulling at her due to peak negative energy, making every breath feel like a struggle.

"I... I can't hold on much longer," she whispered, her voice trembling. "The planet's energy is... it's overwhelming."

Safari's heart ached as he felt her grip weaken. "You're not letting go. I won't let you."

Despite her exhaustion, Angeleva clung to him, her determination flickering like a dying flame. "But Safari... even together, we couldn't stop him."

"We will," Safari said firmly. "We have to."

Zack gritted his teeth. His glowing hands trembled from the immense strain, but his resolve remained firm.

"We're not backing down," Zack declared, his voice echoing with conviction. "We've come too far!"

Jen, leaning against a cracked pillar, nodded fiercely. "We're not letting him win!"

Olive tightened her gloves. "Whatever it takes."

Ian, despite the pain in his limbs, gripped his camera with trembling hands. "This... this will be the moment we show the universe that monsters like Zozo can be defeated."

Safari's hammer began to glow with a vibrant mix of green and pink energy. Angeleva's wings flickered with faint light as she channeled the last remnants of her strength.

"Zack," Safari called, his voice steady. "Bridge us again."

Zack nodded, his hands trembling as he reignited the energy flow. The faint light of the family's unity began to shimmer once more.

"Everyone!" Safari roared. "Pour everything you've got!"

The family gathered their resolve. Zack channeled his healing energy, strengthening the link. Jen focused her spirit, her unwavering support strengthening the bond. Olive infused her resolve, while Ian captured every moment, documenting their struggle.

Angeleva, despite her fatigue, pressed her forehead against Safari's back, her tears mingling with determination. "I believe in you."

With one final surge of willpower, Safari raised his glowing hammer high. "Let's end this!"

Zozo snarled, his crimson sphere glowing with unmatched intensity. "Fools! You cannot stand against absolute destruction!"

The sphere expanded, sending waves of oppressive energy crashing into the family. The pressure was immense, but Safari stood firm, his feet digging into the fractured floor.

With a deafening roar, Safari swung his hammer forward.

"Unity Beam!"

The combined energy erupted in a brilliant burst of green-pink light. It collided with Zozo's sphere once again, and the clash sent shockwaves rippling through the chamber.

The walls trembled, cracks spiderwebbing across the ground.

The two opposing forces struggled for dominance. Safari gritted his teeth, every muscle in his body straining to hold the beam.

But Zozo laughed. "Your beam is nothing before my absolute power!"

His sphere pulsed violently, the crimson energy pushing Safari's beam back once again. The weight of the attack bore down on him, causing his knees to buckle. Angeleva gasped as the pressure intensified, her wings flickering with weakened light.

The beam sputtered, struggling against the overwhelming force. Despite their determination, Zozo's sphere began to consume the unity energy once more.

Safari's breath grew ragged. "No... we can't... lose..."

Zozo grinned. "Despair."

Just as the sphere threatened to overwhelm them, Angeleva's eyes flickered with renewed resolve. Despite her drained state, she reached deep within herself, summoning the last remnants of her strength.

"I won't let it end like this!" she cried, her wings igniting with radiant pink light.

She tightened her grip around Safari, her energy surging through him. "Safari, I'm with you. Always."

The warmth of her power enveloped Safari, rekindling his strength. His eyes widened as he felt their energy intertwine once more.

"No more holding back!" Safari roared.

With a final surge, Safari planted his feet firmly and roared with all his might.

"Unity Beam!"

The combined power intensified, burning through the crimson energy. The sheer force of their resolve shattered the air, and for the first time, Zozo's sphere wavered.

"What?" Zozo's eyes widened.

The beam surged forward, consuming the sphere's dark energy. Safari's hammer glowed brighter than ever, resonating with the emotions of his family.

Zozo snarled, but the fear in his eyes was evident.

"This... this can't be!"

But it was.

With one final push, Safari's beam shattered through the sphere, sending a colossal explosion across the chamber. Zozo screamed as the destructive force engulfed him, his form flickering within the storm of energy.

The chamber trembled. The ground cracked. And then, silence.

Safari collapsed to one knee, panting heavily, de-transforming. Angeleva, though barely conscious, smiled weakly against his back, de-transformed. The family, though exhausted, stood tall.

Zozo lay on the ground, unmoving. A massive, gaping hole burned through his chest, his dark energy flickering like a dying flame. His once-monstrous aura had diminished, leaving behind a hollow shell of the demon general who had once proclaimed himself invincible.

The sight stunned everyone.

"W-We actually did it?" Jen gasped, her voice shaky from exhaustion.

Ian, who had been filming every second of the battle, lowered his camera slightly. "No way... we really overpowered that thing?"

Zack, still glowing faintly from the energy bridge he had created, collapsed to one knee. "That... was insane..."

Olive adjusted her gloves, her hands trembling. "That shouldn't have been possible..."

But it was.

Safari, still kneeling, felt Angeleva's warmth on his back. She was still there, holding onto him tightly, her wings wrapped around his chest. They were both breathing heavily, drained from the intensity of the battle.

Angeleva slowly lifted her head, her tired eyes gazing at the fallen Zozo. "... we did it..."

Safari didn't respond immediately. His body ached, his energy nearly spent. But deep inside, a warmth spread through him. A realization.

This wasn't just his victory. It was theirs.

He clenched his fists and exhaled slowly. "Yeah... we did."

Zozo coughed, dark mist escaping from his wound. His body twitched as his dim, glowing eyes flickered toward Safari and Angeleva. His expression was unreadable—was it shock? Anger? Perhaps even... admiration?

His voice came out hoarse, broken. "How...? How did you... surpass me?"

Safari forced himself to his feet, adjusting Angeleva on his back to keep her comfortable. He looked down at Zozo, his green aura still faintly flickering. "You underestimated us," Safari said, his voice steady despite his exhaustion. "You thought strength alone made you unbeatable."

Zozo's fingers twitched. "But I... I am the strongest... I should have crushed you..."

Angeleva, her head resting against Safari's shoulder, spoke softly. "Strength isn't just about power. It's about bonds."

Zozo's eyes flickered. "Bonds...?"

Safari nodded. "Alone, I never could've beaten you. But I wasn't alone." He looked back at his family, all of them exhausted but still standing. "We fought together. Our emotions, our trust in each other... that's what made us stronger than you."

Zozo's mouth opened slightly, but no words came out. His once-defiant gaze wavered as he stared at the group who had defeated him.

He had never fought for anyone but himself. Never relied on others. And now, in the face of true unity, he had been defeated.

Ian, unable to contain himself, grinned. "Man, this is legendary! The strongest demon general, taken down by teamwork! This is the kind of stuff that'll be remembered forever!"

Olive smirked slightly, crossing her arms. "Guess you're not so invincible after all, huh?"

Jen placed a hand on Zack's shoulder, smiling. "We actually did it... we won together."

Zack let out a breath and nodded. "Yeah... and it was thanks to all of us."

Zozo's body flickered with unstable energy. The dark mist from his wound thickened, spreading across the broken floor. His power was fading fast.

He coughed again, his gaze still locked onto Safari. "You... are different from the others I've fought..." His voice was weaker now, barely above a whisper. "I can see it now... true strength... isn't about being the strongest alone..."

Safari tightened his grip on his hammer, watching as Zozo's body slowly disintegrated into dark embers.

The demon general let out one last, strained chuckle. "Raven... will not be pleased..."

With that, his body crumbled into nothingness, vanishing into the air like a dying flame.

Silence.

Zozo—the strongest general under Raven—was gone.
