The atmosphere was no longer toxic, and the open space gave the family room to stretch their legs and walk around freely.
Zack, ever the healer, took it upon himself to regularly check on Angeleva’s physical well-being.
Her body had been through much: the draining effects of the planet’s negative energy, the wounds from the intense battle, and the emotional scars that still lingered.
Zack, using his healing abilities, worked tirelessly to mend the cuts and bruises. He focused on the little details, making sure she was as comfortable as possible while also restoring her energy.
Meanwhile, Jen made sure that everyone was well-fed, pouring her energy into preparing nourishing meals. Her cooking had become a comforting ritual for the family, and Legend, still adjusting to the idea of a family that had come together so unexpectedly, found himself truly impressed by her culinary skills.
"I never expected the food from mortals to taste this good," Legend remarked, his tone tinged with disbelief. "You are truly remarkable, Jen."
Jen smiled humbly. “I just make sure to put a lot of love into it.”
Ian, as usual, had his camera in hand, documenting every moment of the process. His curiosity knew no bounds, and despite his normal focus on the dramatic, he couldn’t help but point his camera at Legend as well.
"Just one more shot, Legend!" Ian called out, practically bouncing with excitement. "I mean, you're a god! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!"
Legend turned to Ian, eyebrow raised in surprise, though he couldn't help but laugh lightly at the persistent cameraman. "You truly do not fear capturing moments, do you?"
Ian grinned. "Gotta document the history, right?"
While Ian was busy with his camera, Olive worked on other tasks, helping wherever she could, ensuring that everything was taken care of and supporting everyone in her quiet, dependable way.
Whether it was making sure that supplies were properly organized or assisting Zack in his healing efforts, Olive’s steady presence provided much-needed stability for the group.
Through all of this, Safari stayed right by Angeleva’s side, transferring his energy to her as frequently as possible. He didn’t care how long it took or how much energy it drained from him—he knew that Angeleva had given him the strength to carry on when he needed it most, and now it was his turn to give her that same unwavering support.
Every time he transferred his energy, it wasn’t just physical strength he was sharing; it was his emotions, his determination, and his respect for her.
Angeleva could feel the constant flow of Safari’s energy into her, and each time, she felt herself getting stronger.
With every passing day, her physical and mental state improved. She felt the emotional support of the family—each one of them offering what they could. Zack’s healing abilities, Jen’s comforting meals, Olive’s quiet strength, Ian’s determination to capture every moment, and most importantly, Safari’s never-ending presence all combined to create an environment that was conducive to healing, both physically and mentally.
On the fifth day of recovery, Angeleva finally felt the weight of the exhaustion begin to lift from her body. She could stand without wobbling, her wings fluttered slightly, and the lingering drain from the planet’s negative energy had all but disappeared.
Safari noticed this change immediately. “How do you feel?” he asked softly, his concern still evident in his voice.
Angeleva smiled faintly, turning to face him. “Better. Much better. I can finally move without feeling like I’m being pulled down.” She gently placed a hand on his chest, feeling his heartbeat beneath her fingers. “And it’s all thanks to you. I’m ready now. Let’s face whatever comes next.”
The family gathered around, a sense of quiet celebration filling the air. Legend, still slightly stunned by the warmth of the family’s bond, nodded approvingly. “You are truly a remarkable group. I can see now that my decision to train you was the right one.”
Safari nodded, a rare sense of peace settling over him. “We’ve come this far together. There’s no turning back now.”
And so, the family, with Angeleva fully recovered, stood ready for whatever lay ahead. Together, with their bonds stronger than ever, they prepared to face the trials and challenges that would come with Raven’s defeat, knowing that with each other’s support, there was nothing they couldn’t overcome.
Meanwhile...
On a distant planet, once a peaceful haven, Gregory and Patricia reveled in their conquest. The skies, once clear, were now tinged with an eerie purple hue, reflecting the suffering of the people below.
The proud warriors of the planet lay defeated, their bodies strewn across the streets like broken dolls. The surviving citizens cowered in fear, their spirits crushed under the tyrannical rule of the two Celestic Warriors.
Gregory, the Celestic Warrior Orange, lounged atop a makeshift throne made from the rubble of the planet's grand temple. He lazily spun his massive Mace, a satisfied smirk playing on his lips.
Patricia, the Celestic Warrior Purple, hovered above him, her wings fluttering lazily as she admired the chaos below. "Greg, this planet is ours now. We can do whatever we please."
Gregory chuckled, resting his head on his hand. "Yeah, Patty, it's truly a paradise. Our fifth one, to be exact." He glanced at the battered warriors who once protected the planet. "They were crushed like ants… disappointing."
Patricia leaned down, resting her elbow on his shoulder. "You always get bored so fast. But I agree, there's nothing left to amuse us here."
Gregory stretched his arms and cracked his neck. "Then let's move on. A fresh planet means fresher prey."
Patricia sighed dramatically. "Another journey, huh?"
Gregory grinned, standing up and grabbing her legs as she soared into the air. As they ascended, Patricia suddenly froze mid-flight, her expression turning serious.
Gregory noticed her hesitation. "What's wrong?"
Patricia frowned. "I can't sense the aura of Planet Hellsgate."
Gregory raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
Patricia's gaze remained focused. "That planet always emitted a dominant, oppressive energy. I could always faintly sense it, no matter how far away I was. But now… there's nothing."
Gregory waved off her concern. "You're probably imagining things."
Patricia shook her head. "No, I'm certain. Hellsgate always pulsed with overwhelming negative energy. The fact that it's gone can only mean one thing."
Gregory's smirk faded slightly. "Zozo’s been defeated?"
Patricia nodded. "There's no one else who would dare stand against him… except them."
Gregory exhaled sharply, then smirked again. "Then those weaklings actually managed to pull it off. Interesting."
Patricia narrowed her eyes. "I can clearly sense Angeleva's aura there. And if she's there, then Safari is as well."
Gregory's grin widened. "So they're still alive. That makes things interesting. If they really took down Zozo, they must be planning to challenge Raven next."
Patricia considered the idea for a moment before nodding. "That would make sense. They're probably gathering strength before taking him on."
Gregory leaned back slightly in the air. "Then we should let them."
Patricia raised an eyebrow. "Let them?"
Gregory smirked. "Why not? If they focus all their energy on Raven, let them fight him first. If they fall, then we won't even have to lift a finger."
Patricia tapped her chin thoughtfully. "And if, by some miracle, they manage to push Raven to the brink…?"
Gregory’s eyes gleamed with dark amusement. "Then we strike at the right moment. Either way, we profit. If they weaken Raven, we can take everything for ourselves. And if they die, well, that just means fewer obstacles in our way."
Patricia chuckled, leaning closer to him. "You're always thinking ahead, Greg."
Gregory grinned. "That's why we're unstoppable, Patty. Now let's keep watching. Our time will come soon enough."
With that, the two Celestic Warriors vanished into the void of space, their sights set on the inevitable confrontation ahead.
As they soared through the dark skies of the conquered planet, Gregory smirked, his grip firm around Patricia’s legs as she flew effortlessly.
“You know, Patty, when we visited Zozo almost six months ago, you weren’t affected by Hellsgate’s excess negative energy at all,” Gregory mused, looking up at her.
Patricia let out a small chuckle. “Of course not. I told you before—I’m dominant among fairies. My positive energy is far stronger than the average fairy’s, which lets me survive in highly negative environments for up to two days without weakening.” She flipped her hair back, a glint of pride in her eyes.
Gregory grinned. “Heh, so basically, you’re just like me—dominant, strong, and untouchable.” His grip on her legs tightened playfully. “Only difference is that I’m a devil, and you’re a fairy.”
Patricia smirked down at him. “That’s the only thing separating us, huh? The nature of our powers?”
Gregory nodded. “Pretty much. Both of us are top-tier warriors. That’s why we work so well together. No one else could keep up.”
Patricia rolled her eyes. “Tch. You just like having me around because I make things more entertaining.”
Gregory shrugged. “And because we’re the perfect team. Devils and fairies are supposed to be opposites, but look at us—unstoppable.”
Patricia laughed softly. “You know, if the other fairies ever saw me like this, they’d lose their minds. A Celestic Fairy working alongside a Celestic Devil? It goes against everything they believe in.”
Gregory smirked. “Same with the devils. They’d probably call me a traitor or something. Not that I care. They were all weak anyway.”
They continued soaring in silence but focused on there ambitions.
