Chapter 159: United by Pain and Love

Angeleva stood frozen, her wings trembling.

Her breath came uneven, her chest tight. She had expected something terrible—but this… this was malice made flesh.

Her fists curled until her nails drew blood from her palms.
“She went through pain, yes,” she whispered, her voice raw, “but how could she turn that into torture for entertainment?”

Her wings pulsed violently, no longer carrying the gentle glow of fairy light, but a raw, wild burn of fury.

She hadn’t realized her whole body was shaking until Safari stepped beside her.

She turned, violet eyes blazing with hurt.
“She manipulated me, Safari. I loved her. I trusted her. And she—” Her voice cracked. She couldn’t finish.

“I won’t forgive her.”

Her wand lit up, power thrumming against her rage.
“She was never a sister of mine. And Patricia… Gregory… both of them—” she locked eyes with Safari—“they will answer for what they’ve done.”

Beneath the sacred castle, silence lingered. The afterglow of the God Sphere faded, leaving only Safari and Angeleva’s shared resolve.

Safari spoke first, his voice calm but edged with iron.
“Now we know. Gregory. Patricia. Everything.”

Angeleva’s grip on her wand tightened. “Thank you, Legend,” she said without turning.

Legend inclined his head. “Their current location…” His God Sphere pulsed ominously. “…is Planet Satan.”

The name itself froze the air.

Without hesitation, Safari extended his hand. Angeleva faltered for only a breath before placing hers in his. Their fingers interlocked—energies syncing, hearts aligning as if they had always been one.

“Are you scared?” she asked softly.

Safari’s gaze softened. “I was. But not when I’m with you… as my wife.”

Color rose in her cheeks, but her voice was steady.
“Then let’s be scared together. Because as my husband, you give me courage too.”

Behind them, their family stood tall—witnesses to this vow.

Zack grinned faintly, blinking back tears.
“Take care, big bro.”

Jen pressed her hands together, her smile trembling but bright.
“We’ll keep things safe here. You two… bring them down.”

Ian raised his camera, capturing the moment like scripture.
“This is the shot of legends.”

Olive said nothing, but her proud gaze said enough.

Patrick scoffed under his breath.
“About time those freaks got what’s coming.”
Grace only squeezed his arm in quiet agreement.

The winds of Hellsgate swirled. Safari and Angeleva stepped forward, glowing faintly with truth, fury, and love. Their destination: Planet Satan. Their mission: Justice. Vengeance. Closure.

As the farewells faded, Angeleva glanced at Safari with a teasing smile.
“Let’s go, dear.”

Safari blinked. “Dear…?”

Something in her voice made his chest flutter. Real. Intimate.

Behind them, the family burst into cheers.

“Whoo! Let’s go, Queen Angeleva!” Jen shouted.
“They’re really husband and wife now, huh?” Zack laughed.

Even Tyra and Darry gave approving nods.

Off to the side, Ian nudged Olive with a smirk.
“Guess we’re next, huh?”

She elbowed him sharply. “Keep dreaming.” But her eyes lingered on him, remembering his calm leadership during the prison breakout. Maybe, just maybe, there was more to him than jokes.

Angeleva floated up, wings glowing softly.
“Come on, Safari. Hold my legs.”

“…What?” Safari blinked.

“I’ll carry you.”

“I’m heavy! I’m not some kid!”

“I carried you before. Against Lucifero.”

Safari groaned, rubbing his neck. “I was trying to forget that…”

Angeleva giggled. “Your weight is nothing compared to what we’re about to face.”

With a sigh, Safari gripped her legs. She smirked, then launched skyward.

“Wha—whoa!” Safari yelped as the ground fell away.

Before he could adjust, she slipped her arms around his neck, her breath soft against his ear.
“You should trust your wife more. I’ll never let you fall.”

Safari blinked, then smiled faintly.
“Alright then. To Planet Satan.”

Together, husband and wife soared through the cosmos—two hearts against the void.

At last, a familiar nightmare came into view. Planet Satan.

Its atmosphere reeked of ash and vengeance. Crimson mist clung to jagged mountains. Eternal twilight stained the sky.

They landed on scorched earth with a dull thud.

Safari’s boots crunched against blackened soil. “…Can’t believe we’re back.”

Angeleva’s fingers trembled as she laced them with his. “We have to face our nightmares. The new successors of Raven.”

She stopped suddenly, her eyes sharp.
“Safari. Don’t you dare try to sacrifice yourself for me again.”

He blinked at her conviction.

“Back then, I was ready to die for you,” she said, fire in her gaze. “But that was as comrades. Now… we’re husband and wife. If you die, a part of me dies too.”

The wind whistled through cracks in the earth. Then Safari nodded slowly.
“I won’t. But the same goes for you. We fight together. Live or fall together.”

Angeleva smiled, hand tightening around his.
“Together.”

On the horizon, the castle loomed—Raven’s fortress, now under Gregory and Patricia. Its spires pierced the blood-red sky, radiating corruption.

“They’re waiting in the throne room,” Angeleva murmured.

Safari cracked his knuckles, his aura rising.
“Then let’s not keep them waiting.”

Hand in hand, they pushed forward.

The castle gates burst open. Demon soldiers, twisted angels, and beasts of shadow swarmed.

Safari’s Devil Hammer tore through stone and flesh. Angeleva’s Fairy Wand blazed like holy fire.

“Devil Hammer Explosion!”
“Fairy Spiral Judgement!”

Hallways collapsed under their fury. Enemies screamed and fell one by one, unable to withstand the storm of two hearts beating as one.

Finally, they reached the throne room.

Obsidian doors creaked wide, revealing columns strangled in black vines, a shattered mural of Raven’s defeat, and throne—empty, waiting.

Then—footsteps.

From the shadows, Gregory emerged, cracking his neck with a grin. Beside him, Patricia glided forward, regal and venomous.

“Well, well…” Gregory smirked. “We were getting bored playing gods over insects.”

“So boring,” Patricia added, lips curling. “Torturing weaklings only amuses for so long. But you two? Oh… this will be fun.”

Safari’s eyes darkened, voice steel.
“You have no right to conquer anything.”

Angeleva’s wings flared, her voice rising like judgment itself.
“It’s easy to destroy. Easy to conquer. But ruling—protecting—understanding? That takes strength you’ll never know.”

Gregory laughed. “Protect? You sound like prey.”

Patricia sneered. “And look where kindness led mine.”

Safari stepped forward, his aura igniting like wildfire.
“You’re wrong if you think we came here to talk.”

Angeleva raised her wand, her voice a vow.
“This time… we end it.”

The throne room shook.
