As their spaceship soared toward the next Fairy Planet, Naomi sat quietly, analyzing data in the study room of her newly created lab-ship partition.
Her lab had two rooms ā one directly connected to the Pilot Room (under Jimās watch), and another at the rear, accessible through Mikeās Magic Partition and Heidiās Kitchen Partition. Naomiās study linked to her lab by a remote-controlled door.
So far, her inspections found nothing unusual about the ship itself.
But that didnāt change one fact:
Two of the passengers were potential ticking time bombs.
Still, she decided to act normally-until something terrible happened.
But just as she was about to focus on her research-
BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.
Her security alarm flashed red.
Naomi (frowning): "What now?"
She stormed into her lab-
Only to find Mike and Heidi poking around her equipment.
Mike had his hands on a mechanical arm, moving it like a toy.
Heidi was peeking into a microscope, her eyes lighting up in fascination.
Heidi (excited): "Whoa! This thing makes tiny stuff look HUGE!"
Mike (calmly): "This arm thing is kinda cool."
Naomi facepalmed.
Naomi (annoyed): "Get. Out."
Mike (acting cool): "Aw, c'mon. We were just observing."
Heidi(excitedly): "Your lab is too interesting!"
Naomi grabbed them both and dragged them out.
Naomi (muttering): "I swear, you two are worse than children."
Mike and Heidi laughed, their mischievous energy filling the air.
As they left, Naomi watched them carefully.
Their attitudes were innocent-playful, curious, young.
She clenched her fists.
Naomi (thinking): "If they really do turn into monsters... can I actually kill them?"
A part of her felt bad.
But she quickly hardened her resolve.
Naomi (determined): "If it happens, Jim and I will stop them. No matter what."
And with that, she focused back on their mission.
After a few more minutes of sailing, the ship landed on the next Fairy Planet.
The group stepped out, taking in their surroundings.
The planet had vast green fields, a small peaceful village, and a boy standing on a hill-shouting at the top of his lungs.
Boy: "A WOLF! A WOLF IS COMING!"
The villagers rolled their eyes and ignored him.
Heidi (folding arms): "Oh... It's that story."
Mike (thinking): "Let me guess... This kid loves to mess around, but when the real danger shows up, no one believes him?"
Naomi nodded, analyzing her data tablet.
Naomi: "That's correct. The boy repeatedly lies about seeing a wolf. But when the real wolf finally arrives... his warnings are ignored."
But something felt off.
Jim's eyes darkened as he sensed something ominous.
Jim: "This time... I doubt it's just a wolf."
The sky darkened.
A figure loomed in the distance.
A monstrous presence... far more terrifying than any ordinary wolf.
Jim(looking at his aura sensor): "That must be Duchess Lilith's doing."
An eerie howl echoed across the village.
The boy, standing on the hill, continued to shout desperately.
Boy: "A WOLF! A WOLF IS COMING! Please, believe me this time!"
But the villagers ignored him, shaking their heads.
Villager 1: "Enough with your lies, boy."
Villager 2: "We're tired of your tricks!"
Mike, Heidi, Jim, and Naomi watched from a distance.
Jim's expression hardened.
Jim: "This story should follow its original path, but..."
A deep growl interrupted him.
A dark figure emerged from the shadows-much larger than a wolf.
It was a hulking beast, its fur jet black, eyes glowing red, and large fangs dripping with venom.
Naomi's data tablet flashed with danger signals.
Naomi (analyzing): "That thing's DNA... it's been enhanced with dark magic."
The boy gasped in horror when he finally saw the real wolf standing behind him.
Boy (trembling): "I-I wasn't lying this time!"
The wolf lunged-ready to strike.
Mike instinctively moved, blasting it with a nature spell-forcing it back.
Mike: "Yeah, yeah! You were telling the truth! Now run, kid!"
The boy scrambled away, his eyes wide with terror.
But something was off.
Heidi (realizing): "Wait... if the villagers don't believe him... they won't run."
Just as she feared, the villagers remained in their homes, completely oblivious to the real danger.
Heidi: "Damn it! If they don't run, this story won't end properly!"
The wolf monster charged, aiming for the village.
Mike and Heidi jumped in its path.
Mike (grinning): "Guess we're doing this the hard way."
Heidi (cracking her knuckles): "Let's make it quick."
They transformed and rushed into battle, dodging the beast's deadly claws.
Mike blasted it with fire magic, while Heidi smashed it back using her frying pan.
Mike (hand over his head): "Are you seriously using a frying pan?!"
Heidi (grinning): "It works!"
Jim watched quietly from the sidelines, his arms crossed.
Naomi stood beside him, analyzing the battle.
Naomi (thinking): "They're strong... but their emotions keep getting in the way."
As she watched them bicker mid-fight, she sighed.
Naomi: "They need to learn teamwork."
Jim simply smirked.
Jim: "Give them time."
The monster howled, summoning shadow clones of itself.
Mike and Heidi stumbled back as multiple wolves surrounded them.
Mike(with a cool expression as he analyzed them): "Oh, great. More of them!"
Heidi tightened her grip on her frying pan, preparing for the worst.
The clones attacked simultaneously.
Mike blasted fireballs, taking out a few with his calculated precision.
But there were too many.
One claw slashed Heidi's shoulder, making her stumble and detransform.
Another slammed into Mike, knocking him hard into the ground making him detransform.
Heidi (gritted teeth): "Mike!"
Mike struggled to stand, exhausted from using too much magic.
The wolf pounced toward him for a finishing blow.
Heidi reacted instantly.
She pulled out a healing mealāone she had been preparing earlier.
She forced it into Mike's mouth.
Within seconds, his wounds closed, his energy restored.
Mike's eyes widened in surprise.
Mike: "Whoa... That actually worked yet again."
Heidi (smirking): "Of course it did. I made it."
Mike chuckled, finally standing at full power again.
They exchanged glances.
As if reading each other's thoughts-
They transformed and attacked together.
Mike blasted fire magic into the air, forming a giant flaming barrier around the wolves.
Heidi charged forward, smashing through the weakened monsters with overwhelming strength by digging her forks into all of them.
The real wolf monster tried to escape-
But Mike and Heidi combined their final attack.
Mike: "Frost Barrage!"
Heidi: "Fork Piercers!"
The monster was frozen by Mike using his magic before being pierced hard by Heidi using her raw strength.
It was as a result shattered into pieces.
As the smoke cleared, the boy stood at the village entrance.
The villagers finally realized what had happened.
Villager 1: "The boy... was telling the truth."
Villager 2: "We should have believed him."
The story was saved.
The planet stabilized.
Naomi, watching from afar, took a deep breath.
Naomi (thinking): "They're strong. But can they resist the darkness?"
Jim, standing beside her, crossed his arms.
He noticed something.
Mike and Heidi, though always bickering, had perfect synergy when fighting together.
Jim smirked.
_ _ _
With the story complete, the team returned to their spaceship.
Naomi continued analyzing the energy signatures of there orbs.
She knew that something dangerous was lurking beneath them.
Mike and Heidi?
They were already arguing again.
Mike (acting cool): "I could've won that fight on my own, you know."
Heidi (rolling her eyes): "Ha! You would've been wolf food without me!"
Jim chuckled, watching them bicker like kids.
