The battlefield was in ruins.
Darkness spread like an infection across the sky, twisting the very air around them.
Jim and Naomi stood frozen.
Before them, Mike and Heidi-once their strongest allies-had become monsters of pure hatred.
Their eyes burned red with malice.
Their forms were twisted, cloaked in dark energy, their once-bright warrior suits now corrupted versions of themselves.
Jim clenched his fists. "Damn it... this can't be happening."
Naomi bit her lip. "They're completely lost."
Mike let out an inhuman roar, shaking the ground beneath them.
Heidi shrieked-a sound so filled with pain and fury it sent shivers down their spines.
They were unstoppable.
And worst of all-they were tearing into each other with Mike using his wand to use dark magic against Heidi with Heidi using her forks flowing with demonic energy against Mike.
Mike used demonic spells while Heidi used demonic strength.
With every strike, they fought like mindless beasts, fueled by hatred, betrayal, and sorrow.
After experiencing this longer...
Jim (holding his tears): "You were right, Naomi. You were right about the orbs being cursed."
He stared ahead, his heart pounding violently. He had trusted Mike and Heidi to avoid getting into such a situation believing their bonds could break the curse of the orbs. But it seemed everything he believed was wrong.
Jim(acting cold): "I should have listened to you that time and killed them, the orb warriors even if it hurt me. I won't make that mistake again."
He then took out a specialized Destructor Grenade giving up his belief.
Jim: "I'll kill them both."
Naomi's eyes widened in shock.
Naomi: "What?! No! Jim, we can't!"
She grabbed his arm, but he yanked it away, his voice breaking.
Jim (acting determined): "They're not Mike and Heidi anymore, Naomi! Look at them! This bomb will destroy the planet along with them. I had been wanting to use it when things went too bad but it seems now is the perfect time. As for you, you should escape as fast as you can from this planet."
Naomi understood Jim was broken even if he acted tough.
He felt guilty which is why he not only wanted to destroy them but also take himself down with them.
Because he still cared for them as a family even in there worse.
Naomi: "No. I am staying too, I won't let you sacrifice yourself with them. We should rather find some other way."
The twisted forms of Mike and Heidi continued their vicious battle. Every strike was monstrous - no restraint, no thought, only raw destruction.
They tore into each other like mindless beasts, driven by the hatred and sorrow that festered within them.
Jim's voice shook with anguish.
Jim (desperately): "They're killing each other! And if I don't stop them, they'll destroy everything in this universe. If I have to end it myself, then so be it! And please you have to escape. I already owe your father a lot and maybe this is the last thing I can do as a favour. Your original mission would be accomplished even if it costs me my life. So please, escape."
He already was preparing the bomb.
But before he could act -
Naomi snatched the bomb.
Her hands trembled, but her stance was unwavering. Tears welled in her eyes.
She embraced Jim.
Naomi: "No, Jim."
He somehow couldn't resist her touch.
Jim(acting annoyed): "Get out of the way, Naomi!"
She shook her head, her voice firm despite the fear.
Naomi: "They're not gone yet. I know it. The orbs are cursed, but I refuse to believe Mike and Heidi are beyond saving. This is all the monster's fault. There is no need for such a meaningless sacrifice. Plus you were the one who convinced me to believe in there bond."
Jim suddenly came back to his senses and realised it was not the orbs fault but the monster exploiting the cursed power of the orbs. But he still found his decision to be the only logical solution.
Jim (half flustered, half concerned): "But you're risking everything!"
Naomi: "And so are you!"
The air grew tense, both their emotions flaring against each other. But Naomi's resolve never faltered. Finally:-
Naomi (sobbing): "I won't let you kill them cuz it's that monster's goal. I would never let the monster succeed. If there's even the slightest chance we can bring them back, we have to try. Isn't that what a real warrior does?Plus if you wanna kill them, I will go with you guys too.... because I have also started believing ourselves to be a family. I started beleiving in change."
Jim's breathing was ragged, but Naomi's words echoed in his mind.
The truth was unbearable.
He actually hated the monster for corrupting them. Hated himself for failing to protect them. But most of all-
He hated the thought of losing them.
Jim: "Damn it, Naomi..."
Tears burned at the edges of his eyes. He lowered his hands. He then seperated himself from her embrace.
Jim(understanding): "We don't have much time."
Naomi nodded.
Naomi: "Then let's atleast try to find a way to save them."
Like that, they tried every possible way like encouraging them, talking about their previous battles, complementing them individually, etc but nothing worked.
It was almost hopeless.
Just as all hope seemed lost...
A soft pink glow shimmered above them.
A gentle yet powerful voice rang out:
"This is not your fate."
A beautiful young woman descended from the sky, holding a pink wand.
She had long, flowing pink hair, elegant fairy dress, and piercing violet eyes filled with wisdom.
Jim and Naomi turned, shocked.
Naomi: "Who-?"
The woman waved her wand, and in a brilliant flash-
She transformed.
A Celestic Warrior.
But unlike Mike and Heidi's armors, hers shimmered like enchanted fairy dust.
Her suit was a radiant pink, her wings glowing like a celestial butterfly.
Jim: "Another Celestic Warrior?!"
The woman placed a hand on her hip, smiling. "I am Angeleva, the Pink Fairy Warrior."
Jim and Naomi stood in shock.
Jim: "How is that even possible? How can there be another Celestic Warrior?"
Angeleva gave them a gentle look.
Angeleva: "Because the universe is vast...."
Naomi's eyes widened. "Wait... are you saying-?"
Angeleva nodded.
"I came from a fairy planet Angelica that existed outside this universe. It was destroyed... by another Celestic Warrior."
Jim and Naomi felt a chill run down their spines.
Another Celestic Warrior-a destroyer?
Jim: "You mean... you're hunting another one of your own?"
Angeleva's expression turned serious.
Angeleva: "Yes. My mission is to find and defeat him. But for now..."
She looked at Mike and Heidi-still rampaging, still lost in darkness.
Angeleva: "...Saving them is your duty."
She twirled her wand, her fairy magic shimmering through the air.
"I can destroy the monster that did this to them... but their salvation is in your hands."
With one swift motion, she flicked her wand-
A wave of pink energy shot forward, striking Alucard's monster.
In an instant, the monster screamed in agony, its body disintegrating into sparkling dust.
Jim and Naomi's eyes widened.
Naomi: "That... easily?!"
Angeleva smirked, lowering her wand. "Fairy magic is on another level."
But their victory was short-lived-
Mike and Heidi were still trapped in darkness.
Angeleva closed her eyes, sensing their emotions.
Angeleva: "Their hearts... are drowning in loneliness, hatred, and emptiness."
Naomi clenched her fists. "Then what do we do, Jim? We can't fight them-they'll kill us!"
Jim looked down at his hands. "...We don't fight."
Angeleva smiled.
Angeleva: "Exactly. You must remind them... of what they've forgotten."
Jim and Naomi turned back to Mike and Heidi-
Memories flashed in their minds.
All the battles they fought together.
All the laughter, the teasing, the arguments, the victories.
All the times they had each other's backs.
Jim clenched his fists, stepping forward.
Jim: "Oi, Mike! Heidi! I know you're in there, you stubborn idiots!"
Naomi took a deep breath, tears forming in her eyes.
Naomi: "You're not alone! We're right here!"
Their voices echoed through the battlefield-
But the darkness still resisted.
Angeleva bit her lip. "It's not enough..."
Then-
A new light sparked.
From all across the fairy tale worlds they had saved...
A surge of energy manifested.
The characters they had met-Beauty and the Beast, Hansel and Gretel, the Ugly Duckling, Rapunzel, and more-all whose stories were saved appeared as glowing spirits.
They had all felt the dark presence and came to help.
Angeleva gasped. "Their will... their gratitude... it's resonating with them!"
The fairy tale heroes raised their hands, channeling their hope, love, and courage into Mike and Heidi.
Slowly-
Mike's monstrous form trembled as he was getting back to his normal form.
Heidi's eyes flickered as she too was returning to her normal form.
A sudden rush of memories flooded them-
Every moment they had spent together.
All their adventures.
All their emotions.
Mike looked at Heidi.
Heidi looked at Mike.
And then-
They collapsed into each other's arms.
The darkness shattered.
Jim and Naomi rushed forward, relieved.
Naomi knelt beside Heidi, tears in her eyes. "You idiots... you scared us to death."
Jim grinned, helping Mike up. "Never do that again."
Angeleva watched, arms crossed, smirking.
After a few minutes, they woke up only to get a group hug from Jim and Naomi.
They were surprised to see them worry and stayed in the hug longer feeling their care.
After that, they slowly got back up with a little support from Jim and Naomi.
Angeleva (smiling at them): "Well... mission accomplished."
She turned to leave-
But not before playfully running a hand down Mike's arm.
Angeleva: "Shame... you're pretty cute, boy."
Heidi's face turned red instantly.
Without thinking, she shoved Angeleva away and hugged Mike tightly.
Heidi (protective): "Stay away from him!"
Mike froze-then slowly wrapped his arms around her, a small smirk forming.
Mike (blushingly): "Didn't know you cared that much, Heidi."
Angeleva laughed. "There it is. They trust and love each other now... but it's still just the beginning."
She turned to Jim and Naomi. "When they achieve true love... their bond will be unbreakable."
Jim raised an eyebrow. "And you? Where are you off to now?"
Angeleva's expression hardened.
Angeleva: "I have to defeat my counterpart-the Celestic Warrior who destroyed my home."
Naomi smirked. "Hope you two get along."
Angeleva fiercely waving her wand said "No way that's happening!"
With a flicker of fairy light, she vanished through a warp portal, leaving them behind.
Mike and Heidi-still in each other's embrace-suddenly realized their position.
They quickly jumped apart, blushing.
Heidi: "D-Don't get the wrong idea!"
Mike: "You barbarian! Who'd even like you?!"
Jim and Naomi just sighed, shaking their heads.
They were back to normal.
But deep inside-
They had cleared their doubts.
Their journey continued.
But now, it was a journey with hearts that slowly, but surely, drew closer.
