Chapter 35: The Rematch At Twelve Dancing Princess World

As they stepped out of the ship, the ground beneath them crumbled slightly, revealing dark, cracked soil.

Immediately, they sensed the overwhelming presence of Draven's corruption. The air felt heavy, as if the planet itself was suffocating.

But instead of flinching-

They smiled.

Mike: (Looking at the castle in the distance) "We're not running this time."

Heidi: "Side by side."

They began walking-calm, steady, and fearless.

Within moments, the corrupted beasts lurking in the shadows emerged.

Horrific zombie-like creatures, their bodies twisted and mangled, clawed their way toward them. Some had remnants of royal armor, suggesting they were once the castle's guards before they were consumed by corruption.

From above, bat-like monsters swooped down, screeching.

And from the cracked earth, dark vines writhed, attempting to ensnare them.

But Mike and Heidi stood firm as they transformed.

_ _ _

Mike's eyes glowed blue as he lifted his hands.

Mike: "Nature Bind."

Thick, emerald vines erupted from the ground, entangling the incoming zombies. The creatures struggled, but the vines were relentless, twisting and constricting their rotting limbs.

The ground itself obeyed Mike's command. Roots burst from beneath the soil, slamming into the monsters with immense force.

But the bats kept diving, screeching.

Mike's expression sharpened.

Mike: "Fire Flare!"

A torrent of flames erupted from his wand, engulfing the air. The bats screeched as they were consumed by the blazing inferno, turning to ash in seconds.

Heidi smirked, clearly impressed.

Heidi: "Not bad, magician boy."

Before they could move forward, a second wave of enemies appeared. This time, monstrous creatures resembling twisted hounds with glowing red eyes snarled as they lunged at Heidi.

But she didn't flinch.

Heidi summoned her signature weapons-her Forks.

Heidi: "Let's make this quick."

She charged forward, her movements swift and graceful. Her forks struck with deadly force, sending the creatures tumbling.

The hounds circled, growling, but Heidi twirled her weapons with ease. With one decisive movement, she drove her forks into the ground.

Heidi: "Forkquake!"

The ground ruptured beneath her, sending shockwaves that shattered the remaining beasts.

Mike grinned.

Mike: "Noisy as always."

But the waves weren't stopping.

A massive, grotesque abomination formed from the shadows, its skeletal frame covered in dripping black sludge. Its jagged limbs reached toward them.

Mike and Heidi, now perfectly in sync, didn't hesitate.

Mike: "Metal Fortress!"

Shards of metallic spikes erupted from the ground, forming a barrier that momentarily blocked the monster's advance.

But the abomination smashed through.

Heidi leaped onto its arm, using her kitchen knife to slash its corrupted flesh.

Heidi: "Over here, ugly!"

Mike quickly cast another spell.

Mike: "Water Bind!"

A surge of water shot from his palms, wrapping around the abomination's legs like chains.

The creature thrashed, but Heidi didn't give it a chance.

Heidi: "Final Course!"

She hurled her Battle Forks, the weapons glowing with a golden light. The forks pierced through its chest, causing the monster to crumble into black dust.

Mike walked to her side, nodding.

Mike: "Nice work."

Heidi: (Smirking): "Your fire spell’s medium-rare at best."

With the hordes defeated, the dark mist surrounding the castle thinned.

The large, rotting doors of the castle stood before them.

Heidi: (Placing her hand on the door) "This time, no more running."

Mike: (Eyes glowing) "Sorry, Draven but we returned back to annoy you for fun."

With a combined blast of magic and force, they shattered the castle doors.

The ominous throne room awaited them.

And there, seated upon a twisted black throne-

Draven.

He lazily stretched, a bored expression on his face.

Draven: "Yawn... Took you long enough. I was almost falling asleep."

Mike and Heidi's eyes burned with determination.

Heidi: "We're not the same people you fought last time."

Mike: "This time, we win."

Draven's grin widened.

After a few tense moments...

Mike and Heidi stood firm, their eyes locked on Draven as the monstrous vampire lazily rose from his throne. His towering figure, shrouded in shadows, oozed dark energy. The corrupted throne room trembled under the weight of his power. Massive, crimson banners hung in tatters, and the dark, twisted architecture seemed to writhe like a living organism. But unlike before, neither Mike nor Heidi faltered. They had walked through despair. Faced humiliation. Confronted their weaknesses. And now, they were stronger. Draven: (Mocking) "You two really don't know when to quit, do you?" He flashed a crooked grin, exposing sharp, blood-stained fangs. Draven: "Last time, I crushed you like insects. And now you crawl back, thinking you've grown? Adorable." Mike's fists clenched, blue energy flickering around him. Mike: "We've grown, alright. And this time, we're not here to entertain you." Heidi spun her forks confidently, the metallic gleam reflecting the eerie light of the throne room. Heidi: "We're here to end you." Draven: (Laughing) "Good. Then show me how much you've 'grown.'" With a flick of his wrist, Draven unleashed a wave of dark energy, the sheer force shaking the castle walls. Mike and Heidi immediately activated Trust Form, their armor gleaming brilliantly. Their synchronized energy pulsed in unison, forming a protective aura around them. Draven: (Smirking) "Ah, that pathetic form again. Let's see how long you last." Draven vanished in a blur, reappearing behind Mike with monstrous claws extended. But Mike was prepared. Mike: "Water Shield!" A wall of water erupted from the floor, blocking Draven's strike. Heidi dashed forward, twirling her battle forks and slashing at the vampire. Heidi: "Take this!" Draven dodged, but Heidi's second fork caught him off guard, grazing his side. The vampire hissed, glaring at her. Draven: (Growling) "Clever." But before he could retaliate, Mike appeared behind him. Mike: "Binding Vines!" Thick vines burst from the floor, coiling around Draven's limbs. They tightened, glowing with magical energy. Heidi: "You're not going anywhere!" She channeled lightning into her forks and struck, sending a powerful electric surge through Draven's body. He snarled, breaking free with brute strength. Draven: (Snarling) "Not bad, but it's still not enough." Realizing Draven was holding back, Mike and Heidi locked eyes. Mike: "Heidi. Let's push further." She nodded, both of them glowing with a radiant pink hue. Love Form activated, their attacks becoming faster and stronger. Mike unleashed fire magic, creating burning pillars around Draven, forcing him to evade. Heidi: "Flame Fork Strike!" With blazing forks, she lunged at him. The flames scorched the air, leaving a fiery trail. Draven blocked, but the sheer force sent him skidding backward. Draven: (Grinning despite the damage) "Finally. You're making this fun." His monstrous form twisted as his dark aura flared. He launched dozens of shadow spikes from the ground. Mike: "Water Wall!" A protective wave of water burst forth, neutralizing the spikes. Heidi: "We're not done!" She twirled mid-air, summoning a storm of forks that rained down like lightning bolts. Draven roared, trying to swat them away, but the attacks chipped at his strength. Frustrated, Draven unleashed a dark roar, the force shaking the castle. The walls cracked further as his corrupted energy surged. Draven: "Enough games!" But Mike and Heidi didn't flinch. They activated their Devotion Form, their energy burning like a blazing sun. The weight of their combined resolve radiated through the room. Mike: "Nature Surge!" The floor cracked open, and massive vines shot out, glowing with pure energy. They twisted around Draven, holding him firmly. Heidi: "Final Fork Barrage!" She hurled her glowing forks, each one multiplying into dozens. The sky of the throne room became a storm of shining weapons. Draven roared in agony as the attacks struck relentlessly. But even after taking immense damage, he smiled. Draven: (Laughing maniacally) "Yes! Yes! This is what I wanted!" His body began to morph, his monstrous side fully unleashed. Massive demonic wings sprouted from his back, and his body twisted into a beast-like form. His eyes burned with crimson malice. Draven: "Now, let's see if you can survive... my true form!" The corrupted castle shook violently as Draven revealed his monstrous form. His twisted wings spread wide, dark tendrils writhing around him like shadows. His fangs lengthened, and his once-human body grew into a hulking, demonic figure. Draven: (Grinning menacingly) "Now... shall we continue?" Mike and Heidi exchanged determined glances, their golden-white Devotion Form glowing brighter in response. Mike: (Firmly) "Heidi, ready?" Heidi: (Grinning) "Let's make him regret showing that ugly form." With a synchronized nod, they charged. Draven roared, sending a massive wave of dark energy across the room. The force shattered the remaining columns and sent chunks of debris flying. Mike: "Water Barrier!" A spiraling water shield erupted from the ground, blocking the impact. Heidi: (Leaping over the shield) "Lightning Forks!" She launched a barrage of electrically charged forks at Draven. They crackled with bright golden sparks, striking his monstrous body. The vampire winced, but quickly retaliated. Draven: "Pathetic!" He summoned dark spikes from the ground, forcing Heidi to dodge swiftly. However, Mike was ready. Mike: "Binding Chains!" Thick, glowing metal chains burst from the floor, wrapping around Draven's legs. Heidi: (Smirking) "Gotcha!" She spun her battle forks rapidly, infusing them with flame energy. With a powerful throw, the fiery forks pierced through Draven's chest. The impact sent him crashing to the ground. Draven: (Snarling) "You think this is enough?!" Draven's body radiated a dark crimson glow. The ground beneath him cracked as he rose, his monstrous form pulsing with corrupt power. Draven: (Grinning coldly) "Time to devour your light!" He opened his mouth wide, unleashing a massive dark beam of destructive energy. Mike: "Nature Barrier!" Giant glowing vines erupted from the floor, forming a dome to shield them. The dark beam clashed against the barrier, causing tremors to ripple through the castle. But just as they thought they held their ground, Draven vanished. Heidi: (Eyes widening) "Where-" Draven reappeared behind them, slamming his claw into Mike, sending him crashing into a wall. Heidi tried to react, but the vampire swiftly seized her. Draven: (Smirking) "Your devotion means nothing." He hurled Heidi across the throne room, her body smashing through debris. Mike coughed, struggling to stand as Draven loomed over him. Mike: (Gritting his teeth) "We're not done..." Lying on the fractured ground, Mike suddenly glanced at Heidi. Mike: (Panting) "Heidi... we need to try something different." She raised a brow, confused. Heidi: "What do you mean?" Mike: (Determined) "Your cooking isn't just for battle. Let's use it with my magic. If we can mix our powers, we might be able to create something powerful enough to stop him." A grin crept across Heidi's face. Heidi: "You're saying... we cook him?" Mike: (Nodding) "Exactly." They both stood up, renewed determination burning within them. Heidi twirled her battle forks with confidence as Mike's wand glowed with vibrant magical energy as he combined it with a potion. Mike: "Water Magic: Steam Surge!" A surge of boiling steam flooded the room, softening the stone beneath Draven's feet. The vampire growled, confused. Heidi: (Smirking) "Let's turn up the heat!" She swung her forks hard enough to summon massive flames that swirled through the mist. The combination of steam and fire created a blistering vortex, trapping Draven within. Draven: (Snarling) "You think this will stop me?" Mike: "That's not all." He summoned vines laced with fire and water magic, wrapping around Draven like a constricting oven. Heidi: "Time to season!" She summoned glowing salt-like crystals from thin air, scattering them over the swirling vortex. The crystals shattered upon contact, releasing bursts of explosive energy. Heidi: "And for the final touch-Lightning Glaze!" With a fierce twirl of her fork, she shot a surge of electricity through the mist. The lightning danced through the steam, superheating it into a deadly conductor. Mike and Heidi locked eyes, their energies perfectly synchronized. Mike & Heidi: "Gourmet Flame Burst!" A massive surge of combined fire, water, and lightning erupted from the vortex, engulfing Draven in a fiery explosion. The castle walls shook violently as the attack unleashed a deafening roar. Draven's monstrous form writhed in agony. His growls of rage turned into pained screams as the overwhelming force of their power overwhelmed him.
