Mike and Heidi still stood side by side, their hands clasped tightly in their Love-trust-devotion-resolve-commitment form.
Even though-
Their bodies ached.
Nosferatu hovered above them, his piercing red eyes glowing in the dark throne room.
His black cape billowed, the aura of death radiating from him.
But Mike and Heidi were still not afraid.
They charged yet again.
Mike's magic surged.
He unleashed all four elements at once using the wand-
Flames engulfed his fists,
Waves of water followed,
Vines sprouted from the cracks in the floor,
Bolts of lightning crackled around his body.
Nosferatu narrowed his eyes.
Nosferatu: "Foolish children."
Before he could react, Heidi leapt forward.
Her makeshift weapon-crafted from a frying pan, kitchen knife, forks, and spoons-gleamed with raw power.
With one mighty swing, she smashed it down.
The castle floor shattered beneath her strength.
Nosferatu was sent flying into the throne.
Nosferatu (gritting his teeth): "Tch... you're stronger than I expected."
He rose again, but before he could strike back-
Mike and Heidi's eyes met.
Mike: "It's time."
Heidi: "Let's finish this."
They focused their energy.
Their auras intertwined in there form-blazing with Love, Trust, Devotion,Resolve and Commitment.
A radiant glow surrounded them by pouring their combined energy.
They rushed forward together.
Heidi: "For everything you've done-"
Mike: "This ends NOW!"
Their combined attack struck Nosferatu head-on.
The light engulfed him.
For a moment, it seemed like...
They had won.
But then-
A deep, horrific laugh echoed through the castle.
The light faded.
Nosferatu was still there.
His cloak was tattered.
His body was injured.
But his red eyes still glowed with unnatural life.
Nosferatu (grinning): "Did you really think it would be that easy?"
Mike and Heidi staggered back.
Mike (breathing heavily): "No way... That attack should have destroyed you!"
Nosferatu straightened his posture, cracking his neck.
Nosferatu: "Haven't you realized it yet? You can kill me a hundred times-"
Nosferatu's wounds began to heal instantly.
Nosferatu: "But I will always come back."
Mike and Heidi's hearts sank.
But they weren't ready to give up.
They attacked again.
Mike unleashed firestorms.
Heidi swung her spatula like a war hammer.
Lightning surged, water crashed, vines wrapped around Nosferatu.
Each time-Nosferatu was destroyed.
Each time-he came back.
Nosferatu retaliated using his own attacks like Dracula Beam, Vampire Slash, etc.
Mike and Heidi used every finisher they could launch by pushing themselves to the limits.
Celestic Golden Finale
Ultimate Radiance Beam.
Judgment Explosion.
But nothing worked.
Nosferatu always stood back up.
Their attacks were useless.
Their bodies trembled with exhaustion.
Mike collapsed to one knee, gasping for air.
Heidi clutched her chest, sweat dripping from her face.
Heidi (weakly): "Mike... I can't... keep this up."
Mike (clenching his fists): "There has to be a way..."
But his mind was clouded with exhaustion and despair.
Nosferatu laughed again.
Nosferatu: "You look tired. Maybe you should just... give up."
Mike's hands shook.
He looked at Heidi, who was barely standing.
Nosferatu launched a blood wave representing blood he drained from every victim drowning Mike and Heidi in it.
He then launched Dracula Beam striking them hard enough for them to shriek in agony followed by Vampire Crunch to bite them sucking some blood.
Nosferatu (maniacally): "Well! It's tasty."
Mike: "You rotten corpse! How dare you?"
Heidi: "We would never forgive you for this!"
Nosferatu just laughed maniacally.
Nosferatu: "I don't need forgiveness from a couple of mortals when I myself am the God of this dimension."
This was hopeless.
Meanwhile...
The tank rumbled across the vampire lands, heading toward the castle.
Jim gripped the controls tightly.
Naomi sat behind him, holding the crucifix she had crafted.
It was rough, made from lab materials, but it glowed faintly with positive energy.
Naomi (panting): "Jim, how much longer?!"
Jim narrowed his eyes.
Jim: "We're almost there!"
Naomi clenched her fists.
Naomi (thinking): Mike, Heidi... please hold on.
They had to make it in time.
