The morning sun rose over Soluna, casting golden rays across the war-torn land - but the sense of victory from the previous day was already fading.
Tim, however, seemed unbothered.
He lay sprawled under a tree, his Solar Saber propped up beside him, twirling a blade of grass between his fingers.
Henry, standing over him with his arms crossed, smirked. "You know, for the 'Savior of Soluna,' you sure like to slack off."
Tim grinned. "Hey, I just saved the day yesterday - I deserve a break."
Marie standing beside Henry laughed softly. "He does have a point, Henry. Let him rest... for now."
But Heatsun's voice cut through their banter like a blade.
"The enemy won't rest, Tim."
Tim sat up with a groan, rolling his eyes. " Can't you lighten up for once?"
Before Heatsun could respond, far away, deep within the forests of Soluna - something sinister was unfolding.
The plant-based monster unleashed by Moonsalt had taken root in an abandoned village.
Twisted vines, dark green and glowing with an eerie purple hue, crept along the ground like living snakes. Thorns the size of daggers sprouted from every branch.
The villagers - a mix of Solar and Lunar people - didn't even have time to react.
The monster's core, a massive flower-like structure at its center, pulsed violently, sending invisible shockwaves of energy rippling through the air.
One by one, the villagers dropped to their knees - their life energy being drained, stolen by the monstrous plant.
Their once vibrant skin turned pale, their eyes dull. Some tried to run, but the vines snatched them, wrapping around their bodies and rooting them to the spot.
The monster was feeding.
And with every stolen life force, it grew stronger.
Inside Dark Void's ship
Dark Void watched through a glowing, smoky projection, his lips curled into a cruel smile.
"Impressive, Moonsalt."
Commander Moonsalt stood beside him, her icy blue hair flowing behind her like a frozen river.
Her expression was emotionless, but there was a sharp glint of satisfaction in her eyes.
"This monster will slowly drain the planet," Moonsalt said softly. "And the Solar Warrior won't even know where it is - until it's too late."
RoboKamen clanked forward, his robotic voice echoing. "The monster has adapted as per your design, Commander Moonsalt. It camouflages itself by blending its energy with Soluna's natural life force."
Dark Void chuckled. "So even if the Solar Warrior senses something is wrong... he won't be able to pinpoint the monster's exact location."
Moonsalt allowed a small smile. "By the time Tim realizes what's happening... Soluna will be a lifeless husk."
Back in Soluna
Hours passed - and strange things began happening.
Solar and Lunar villagers scattered across Soluna started feeling weak.
In distant towns and villages, people collapsed mid-task - farmers dropping their tools, children suddenly fainting during play, warriors losing strength without warning.
The life drain was spreading like a ripple through a pond.
But in the central part of Soluna, where Tim and his team were, everything seemed... normal.
Tim yawned, stretching his arms. "Well, looks like another quiet day."
Heatsun's brow furrowed. "Too quiet."
Marie glanced at him. "What do you mean?"
Heatsun's gaze darkened. "Soluna is never truly at peace - not while Dark Void still lives."
Henry tilted his head. "You think something's happening?"
Heatsun's jaw tightened. "I don't think - I know."
Just then -
A faint gust of wind blew through the village.
Tim blinked. "Uh... guys?"
Marie gasped softly. "The air... it feels... heavy."
The once crisp, clean air of Soluna now felt stifling - like something was sucking the life out of the very atmosphere.
Tim's playful demeanor vanished. "Something's wrong."
Heatsun nodded grimly. "We need to find out what - now."
Before anyone could move - a Solar villager stumbled into view, collapsing at Tim's feet.
His skin was pale, his eyes sunken.
Tim knelt beside him, panic creeping into his voice. "Hey - what happened to you?!"
The villager could barely speak. "... D-drained... a... m-monster... stealing... life..."
Tim's heart pounded. "Where? Where did you see it?"
The villager's hand trembled as he weakly pointed to the forest to the east.
And then - he went limp.
Tim's jaw clenched.
"Heatsun... what is this?"
Heatsun's face darkened. "Life drain."
Marie covered her mouth in horror. "A monster... is stealing their life force."
Henry's fists clenched. "Dark Void... he's behind this."
Tim shot to his feet, gripping his Solar Saber. "Then let's go - we have to stop it."
Heatsun placed a hand on Tim's shoulder, his voice firm. "This isn't like the Boulder Beast, Tim. We have no idea what we're up against."
Tim met his gaze, his jaw tight. "I don't care. If we wait - more people are going to die."
Heatsun stared for a moment... then nodded.
"Then we move."
Tim's Solar Saber flared with golden energy as he turned to the forest.
"I'm coming for you, monster."
The air thickened as Tim, Heatsun, Henry, and Marie raced toward the eastern forest. Each step felt heavier, as if the very life of Soluna was being drained from the land itself.
Tim's knuckles tightened around his Solar Saber, the golden blade humming softly with power. His mind buzzed - not with fear, but with urgency.
He remembered the villager's sunken eyes, the way his body seemed hollowed out - as if the monster didn't just steal life but devoured it.
"Tim, stay sharp," Heatsun said, his voice cutting through the tense silence. "We don't know what this creature is capable of."
Henry, his hand resting on the hilt of his own blade, added, "If it's one of Moonsalt's monsters... it's not just going to attack head-on. It'll be clever."
Marie kept a steady pace beside them. "We need to stop it before more lives are lost."
Tim nodded, his jaw set. "Then let's find it fast."
Deep within the forest...
The plant-based monster stirred.
Its core, a massive blackened flower with glowing purple veins, pulsed - a heartbeat made of corruption.
The vines, now even longer and thicker than before, slithered through the trees, reaching into the soil, feeding off the life force of anything they touched.
The creatures that once roamed the forest lay motionless, their bodies withered, their once-bright auras now faded to nothing.
The monster didn't move from its spot - it didn't have to.
The life drain spread like a disease, creeping farther and farther.
But then - it sensed something.
A flicker of golden light - growing closer.
The Solar Warrior was coming.
At the edge of the forest...
Tim came to a sudden halt.
The others followed suit, their eyes widening at the sight before them.
The once-lush forest was a shadow of itself.
The trees stood like skeletal remains - leaves withered, their trunks cracked and lifeless. The grass was dry and gray, the air thick with a faint, sickly-sweet scent.
Marie gasped softly. "It... it's all dying."
Tim's fists clenched. "We're too late for the forest... but we won't be for the people."
He stepped forward - but the moment his foot touched the ground, a vine shot out from beneath the soil.
"Tim, watch out!" Henry shouted.
Tim barely dodged, the vine missing him by inches - but more were coming.
The ground rippled as if alive, countless dark green vines bursting from the earth like snakes, all twisting and snapping toward them.
Tim slashed with his Solar Saber - golden arcs of energy slicing through the vines - but for every one he cut down, two more seemed to grow.
Heatsun's voice boomed. "We have to find the core! These vines are connected to the monster - they're just a distraction!"
Marie focused, her Lunar energy faintly glowing as she dodged the writhing vines. "But where is it?"
Tim grit his teeth. "I'll find it."
Back on Dark Void's ship...
Moonsalt watched through the projection, her expression cool and calculating.
"They're caught in the web," she said softly. "Exactly as planned."
RoboKamen clanked beside her. "The more they fight the vines, the more energy the monster will absorb."
Dark Void leaned back in his throne, amused. "Let the Solar Warrior struggle - let him wear himself down. By the time he finds the core, it will be too strong for him to destroy."
Sunburn crossed his arms. "Looks like you got lucky this time, Moonsalt."
She didn't respond - her focus remained on the battle.
Back in the forest...
Tim, now covered in scratches from the relentless vines, growled in frustration.
"This is getting us nowhere!"
Heatsun swung his weapon, severing a vine that nearly wrapped around Tim's ankle. "Then think, Tim where would the monster hide its core?"
Tim's eyes scanned the dying forest - until something clicked.
The vines weren't random - they were all leading somewhere.
A central point.
A heart.
Tim's gaze locked onto a dark cluster of trees in the distance - a place where the vines seemed to pulse more violently.
"There."
Without waiting, Tim bolted forward.
Henry shouted after him. "Tim, wait!"
But Tim didn't stop.
His Solar Saber flared as he charged into the heart of the forest - straight toward the monster's core as he turned into his Solar Warrior form.
And hidden among the dead trees - the flower-like core awaited him, its glowing purple veins pulsing faster as if sensing his arrival.
Tim skidded to a stop in front of the massive, corrupted flower at the heart of the forest.
Its black petals, streaked with glowing purple veins, quivered as if the creature itself was breathing. Thick, twisting vines slithered along the ground, all converging at the base of the core.
His Solar Saber crackled with golden light as he raised it.
"I found you."
The core reacted instantly. With a deep, guttural sound, it sent a wave of energy pulsing through the vines - and they lashed out in every direction.
Tim dodged, slicing through the oncoming tendrils. His blade cut cleanly, but for every vine severed, another sprouted in its place.
"These things just keep growing!" he muttered through gritted teeth.
Heatsun, Henry, and Marie finally caught up, only to be greeted by a storm of writhing vines.
"Tim, the core is feeding off Soluna's life force - if we don't destroy it now, it'll keep regenerating!" Heatsun shouted.
Henry parried a vine with his sword. "We need to get Tim close enough for a direct hit!"
Marie, her Lunar energy glowing faintly, nodded. "I can try to freeze the vines with my Lunar Aura - it might slow them down."
Tim didn't hesitate. "Then let's end this!"
On Dark Void's ship...
Moonsalt's eyes narrowed as she watched the battle unfold through the projection.
"They found the core faster than I expected."
RoboKamen's mechanical voice clanked beside her. "The Solar Warrior is stronger than we thought."
Dark Void leaned forward in his throne, a twisted smile on his face. "Good. Let him struggle. A hero must know how it feels to almost win... before losing everything."
Sunburn crossed his arms. "Your monster's in trouble, Moonsalt. Got a backup plan?"
Moonsalt's expression darkened. "I don't need one."
Back at the core...
Tim charged forward, dodging and slicing through the vines. The core pulsed faster, sensing his approach.
"Solar Saber Slice!"
Tim's Solar Saber blazed with white-hot energy as he unleashed a powerful arc of golden light, aiming straight for the monster's heart.
The attack struck the core dead-on - a brilliant explosion of light burst from the impact.
For a brief moment, everything was still.
But then -
The core absorbed the energy.
Tim's eyes widened. "What...?"
Heatsun's voice thundered behind him. "It's drawing power from your attacks - it's using Soluna's stolen life energy to shield itself!"
The core's purple veins flared brighter, and the vines lashed out with even more fury.
One wrapped around Tim's wrist, yanking him off his feet and slamming him into the ground.
"Ah-!"
Henry and Marie fought furiously to cut through the growing thicket of vines, but they were being pushed back.
Tim struggled against the vine tightening around his arm, his Solar Saber flickering.
"No... I can't... lose here."
The core loomed before him, glowing more intensely - as if it was preparing for something.
Then, Heatsun's voice roared:
"Tim! The core might absorb your energy - but it can't handle both Solar and Lunar energy at the same time!"
Tim's heart pounded. "Solar and Lunar... together?"
Marie stepped forward, her hands glowing with a soft silver aura.
"Tim, if we combine our powers - we can overload the core!"
Tim's mind raced. The Solar and Lunar people had spent centuries at war... but now, their powers could be the key to saving Soluna.
He tightened his grip on the Solar Saber.
"Let's do it."
Marie's Lunar energy swirled even though it was little but that little energy was the key.
Henry also collaborated by pouring some of his remaining energy through Marie to make sure it integrated with Tim's Solar Saber.
Slowly it started intertwining with the golden light of Tim's Solar Saber though the energy was unstable for Tim.
But he tried to bear it. "I have to take it no matter what! Come on! Just a little more, I can do it." he told to himself.
Their combined auras crackled - unstable yet powerful as the plant monster was edging closer, the more the delay.
Then-
Heatsun finally called out: "Strike now - before the core adapts again!"
Tim finally raised his weapon and sliced through through the beast.
"Solar Saber Special Strike!"
The combined blast of energy shot forward, colliding with the core.
The monster shrieked, its veins flickering wildly as the opposing forces clashed inside it - unable to contain both collaborated slash .
With one final pulse - the core exploded.
A shockwave of light and darkness swept through the forest.
The remaining vines crumbled into ash.
The air, once thick and lifeless, slowly felt lighter.
----
Silence.
Tim, breathing heavily, lowered his Solar Saber as he detransformed back to his original human form in exhaustion.
Marie swayed slightly, drained from the attack, but Henry standing just behind her, caught her.
Heatsun stepped forward, huffing but satisfied. "You did it."
Tim stared at the smoldering remains of the core. "We did it... together."
Suddenly a large number of Solar and Lunar people who were observing the battle from afar came rushing in towards them.
"The Saviour of Soluna."
"Saves the day yet again."
"Solar...Warrior! Solar...Warrior!"
They cheered.
Tim fell to his knees and waved at them with a smile.
Henry and Marie patted him in the back.
Heatsun looked at Tim and the crowd's cheers and couldn't stop himself to force a slight grin.
On Dark Void's ship...
The projection fizzled out.
Moonsalt's jaw clenched, her usually calm expression now twisted with frustration.
"Impossible."
Dark Void chuckled softly. "Interesting."
Sunburn laughed. "Guess the great Moonsalt's monster wasn't so unstoppable after all."
Moonsalt ignored him, her mind already spinning with new plans.
Dark Void's eyes gleamed. "It seems the Solar Warrior is learning... but this is just the beginning."
Back in Soluna...
Tim looked at the scarred forest, his grip on the Solar Saber tightening.
"Dark Void won't just stop here. I'm sure."
Heatsun nodded grimly. "No, but now he knows you're not alone."
Marie smiled faintly. "And together... we're stronger."
Henry gave a faint nod saying. "Don't forget I helped too or else the combination would have backfired."
Tim gave a mischievous smile. "Jealous?"
Henry tried to play it cool. "As if I would be."
But Marie noticed a faint blush on his face and sighed in embarrassment. "Doesn't look like that.''
Tim then gazed at the horizon anticipating another battle the next day.
