Chapter 103: The Ambition Of Dark Void

Tim and Rei stood at the front, weapons drawn, energy surging.

Tim's Solar Saber burned like a miniature sun.

Rei's Lunar Crescent Hatchets gleamed like moon.

They dashed forward, striking together-

"SOLAR SABER FINAL SLASH!"
"LUNAR CRESCENT STORM!"

The twin attacks collided with Dark Void, shaking the battlefield.

A blinding white-black explosion erupted, sending shockwaves rippling across the ruins.

The force alone split the ground beneath them, turning debris into dust.

Yet, Dark Void barely flinched.

He slowly turned his gaze towards them, finally acknowledging their existence.

His eyes-cold, empty, devoid of emotion.

Then, in a voice that dripped with condescension, he muttered-

"So... you survived."

His gaze shifted behind them, scanning the massive army of Solar, Lunar, Resistance, and Celestic Justice forces.

A mass of warriors, survivors, and dreamers-all standing against him.

He scoffed.

"And you gathered a bunch of imperfect, weakling scum... a pathetic army of burdens."

He exhaled in boredom.

"You expect me to care? You expect me to fear?"

Tim gritted his teeth. "We're here to stop you!"

Dark Void tilted his head slightly.

"Stop me? No. I have already lost interest in you."

He turned away.

And continued his destruction.

The united army erupted in outrage.

"HEY!" Sheila shouted, her voice booming. "We're right here! Face us!"

Jeromy unleashed his Plasma Whip, releasing massive energy shots bombarding Dark Void's back.

Celestic Justice warriors followed with synchronized Celestic Barrage.
Resistance soldiers fired paralysis shots and disruptor rounds.

Yet-nothing.

Dark Void ignored it all.

He walked through the attacks like an untouchable god.

Not dodging.
Not countering.
Not even acknowledging their efforts.

It was as if they didn't exist.

Tim and Rei exchanged a glance.

Both warriors flared their energy to the max.

Tim's Solar Saber burned white-hot.

Rei's Crescent Hatchets glowed blacker than the void.

"WHITE SOLAR WARRIOR!" Tim roared.

"BLACK LUNAR WARRIOR!" Rei followed.

Their powers merged as their transformation was complete, forming a spiral of Solar-Lunar radiance.

They charged again.

Tim swung his Solar Saber-
Rei followed with Lunar Hatchet Strikes-

A devastating dual attack aimed straight for Dark Void's head.

Just before the attack landed-

Dark Void raised a single finger.

BOOM.

A shockwave of dark energy exploded outward, sending Tim and Rei crashing into the ruins.

As the dust settled, Dark Void looked down at them, expression unreadable.

Then, in a slow, measured voice, he said-

"You are nothing but insects... buzzing around a god."

He raised his hand-

And prepared to erase them from existence.

Tim and Rei groaned in pain, struggling to rise after the devastating impact. Their bodies ached, and their energy was drained.

Jim, unable to transform, refused to stand by and do nothing. His hand trembled, but he reached for a fallen Celestic Justice weapon-a damaged Celestic Blaster.

With sheer determination, he fired a Celestic Barrage.

The energy shots streaked through the air-

And barely tickled Dark Void.

Dark Void did not even turn.

Jim clenched his fists. "Damn it!"

Sheila, fury burning in her eyes, gripped her twin sabers and dashed toward Dark Void at full speed.

"LIKE HELL WE'LL LET YOU!" she roared.

She slashed in a blur of motion-her blades aimed at Dark Void's neck.

But-

BOOM!

A mere wave of Dark Void's hand sent her flying backward, smashing through rubble.

Sheila coughed blood, barely catching herself before she hit the ground.

Dark Void finally sighed, exasperated.

"Mosquitoes."

His deep, cold voice echoed across the ruined battlefield.

He floated above them, arms outstretched, gazing at the destruction he had wrought.

The planet burned.
Ruins stretched for miles.
Solar and Lunar bodies lay lifeless, scattered across the land.

He took a deep breath.

"I am in the midst of something grand. Something beyond the comprehension of you... lesser beings."

He turned toward them, his crimson eyes glowing with divine intensity.

"I am not merely destroying Soluna for pleasure. No... This is a necessary sacrifice."

His gaze pierced through them, and then-

He spoke his ultimate truth.

"I intend to push Soluna to the brink of absolute destruction... until its protector, the Solunar God, Solarae, finally awakens."

A dead silence followed.

Tim's eyes widened. "What...?"

Rei gasped clutching her belly. "Solarae...?"

Even Jeromy and Aron, standing in the distance, looked shocked.

Dark Void continued, his tone unwavering.

"Solarae is the embodiment of all Celestic energy. The balance of Solar and Lunar forces. The ultimate divine guardian of this world."

He raised his hand, summoning a black celestial sphere pulsating with an ominous light.

"For ages, he has remained dormant, watching over Soluna in silence. But there exists a fundamental rule-"

The sphere grew larger, darker.

"Solarae only intervenes when Soluna reaches its breaking point."

His lips curled into a twisted smile.

"I am pushing this world to its final limit. The moment it is seconds from annihilation-"

His eyes gleamed.

"Solarae will awaken."

The battlefield trembled.

Solar and Lunar people exchanged horrified glances.

Jim's hands shook. "You... you're doing all this just to summon Solarae?"

Dark Void smiled.

"Yes. And when he appears..."

He clenched his fist.

"I will absorb him."

A collective gasp erupted.

Dark Void's smirk widened.

"The power of a god... will become mine."

He took a slow step forward, his presence alone suffocating.

"With Solarae absorbed, I will transcend all limits. I will become the strongest being in existence-an absolute, complete life form. The one and only true god."

He outstretched his arms, embracing his own vision.

"Then, I shall erase this broken, imperfect universe-"

His gaze darkened.

"And create a perfect one."

Jim's heart pounded.

"A perfect universe...?"

Dark Void nodded.

"A universe where flaws, weakness, and impurity do not exist. Where only my divine will reigns supreme."

His eyes turned toward Jim-cold, calculating.

"Your precious 'unity' is meaningless. Bonds are temporary. Emotions are fragile. In the end, nothing matters except absolute power."

His voice deepened.

"And I will hold that power."

Jim clenched his fists. "You... you're insane!"

Dark Void chuckled.

"Insane? No. You are simply too weak to understand."

He turned away from them, looking at the sky, as if speaking to a higher being.

"Come, Solarae. Show yourself. This world is on the verge of ruin."

He raised his hand-

And black energy began consuming the sky itself.

Dark Void's destruction raged on.

Entire cities crumbled to dust.
The land split apart.
Skies once filled with light darkened into an abyss.

No one could stop him.

Tim and Rei, battered.
Jim, weakened.
Sheila, Jeromy, Aron, Henry, Marie-powerless.

Even the united army of survivors could do nothing but watch as their home vanished before their eyes.

And then-

The sky shattered.

A divine presence descended.

A massive celestial light engulfed Soluna, halting Dark Void's destruction mid-strike.

An ethereal voice echoed across the battlefield.

"ENOUGH."

The voice carried a weight beyond time itself.

Everyone-Dark Void included-froze in place.

And then, he appeared.

Above the ruined land, a colossal figure emerged.

His presence radiated yellow and blue light-an embodiment of the Sun and Moon in perfect harmony.

His form was both Solar and Lunar, yet beyond both. His hair glowed like the sun, yet flowed like moonlight. His eyes burned with cosmic wisdom.

He was Solarae-the Celestial God of Soluna.

Dark Void's expression twisted in shock.

"So... you have finally come."

Solarae's voice remained firm.

"You have committed enough sin. Your pursuit of perfection has led only to ruin. Your destruction... ends here."

Dark Void clenched his fists. "You cannot stop me! I will absorb you, and I will become the one true god!"

Solarae shook his head.

"You understand nothing. Power alone does not make a god. And war... destruction... it is meaningless. It breeds only despair."

Dark Void growled. "LIES! Power is everything! This universe is broken! I will FIX IT!"

Solarae's gaze pierced through him.

"You do not seek perfection. You seek control. And you are blinded by your own arrogance."

He raised his hand, and a green aura illuminated the sky.

"Allow me to tell you a story. One that has repeated itself for far too long."

Dark Void's body tensed.

The survivors, still trembling, listened in silence.

Solarae's voice echoed through time itself.

"Two thousand years ago... war consumed Soluna."

A vision appeared in the sky.

The past unfolded before their eyes-

The Solar People-yellow-haired warriors from Sola.

The Lunar People-blue-haired warriors from Luna.

They clashed in an endless war over dominance of Soluna, the planet that connected their two worlds.

The conflict was merciless.

Entire civilizations fell.
Mountains collapsed.
Oceans turned to blood.

Hatred burned so deeply that neither side sought peace-only destruction.

And then-

Solarae descended upon them.

Furious.

Disgusted.

"You have doomed yourselves over nothing."

In his wrath, Solarae cursed both races.

"From this day forth-Solar men shall only bear children with Lunar women, and Lunar men shall only bear children with Solar women. If you wish to survive, you will need each other."

A divine light engulfed Sola and Luna.

Both planets... collapsed.

The Solar and Lunar people had no choice but to rebuild on Soluna, together.

Centuries passed.

At first, hatred remained.

But as generations grew, intermarriage became common in order to progress generations.

Families merged.

Solar men and Lunar Women married and had one solar and a lunar child always to keep balance between there races as a result of the curse.

Similarly, Lunar men and Solar Women married and had one solar and a lunar child to keep balance between there races as a result of the curse.

And slowly... the wounds healed.

Old grudges faded.

Solar and Lunar warriors stood side by side.

They built Soluna into a world of unity.

But still... darkness lingered in the hearts of many, even now.

Solarae's voice boomed with finality.

"You, Dark Void, are a remnant of darkness. A being who refuses to learn."

Dark Void trembled. "That curse... It forced weakness upon you!"

Solarae narrowed his gaze.

"It forced unity upon us. It gave us a chance to evolve. To grow. To find strength not in war-but in each other."

His presence grew brighter.

"And now, you seek to undo everything. You wish to erase a world that has finally found peace. That is why you will never be a god."

Dark Void's rage exploded.

"THEN I WILL TAKE YOUR POWER BY FORCE!"

His aura erupted in black flames as it ignited the battlefield.

His rage was uncontrollable. His power-devastating.

He roared:
"I WILL BECOME A GOD!"

And with that, he charged straight for Solarae.

Tim and Rei, despite their injuries, knew they had to stop him.

They surged forward, their Celestic Resonance flaring.

Tim-White Solar Warrior- unleashed a Solar Slash, his Solar Saber glowing with radiant power.
Rei-Black Lunar Warrior- spun mid-air, striking with Lunar Crescent Hatchets, their edges shining with Lunar brilliance.

CLASH!

Dark Void barely flinched. With one backhand, he sent them flying.

The Resistance soldiers opened fire.

Bullets, plasma rounds, energy blasts-a storm of attacks rained down upon Dark Void.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Smoke and fire erupted, but as it cleared-Dark Void stood unfazed.

Jim gritted his teeth.

With whatever Celestic Energy he could muster, he raised a fallen Celestic Justice cannon and roared:

"EVERYONE, TOGETHER!"

Celestic Justice warriors lined up behind him.

Resistance fighters readied their weapons.

Even Sheila and Jeromy joined in.

They all launched a massive Celestic Flurry!

A tidal wave of Celestic rounds engulfed Dark Void.

For the first time-he staggered.

Dark Void growled in annoyance.

With a flick of his wrist, a gravitational force exploded outward!

"BEGONE, INSECTS!"

The army was sent flying!

The shielded Solunar survivors trembled.

Fathers clutched their children.
Mothers held their loved ones close.
A Solar man and a Lunar woman held each other, afraid to let go.
A Lunar man and a Solar woman did the same, shielding their children.

Even the bravest warriors were starting to lose hope.

The children clutched their parents, eyes filled with fear.

A little Lunar girl whispered, "Are we going to die?"

A Solar boy bit his lip, unable to answer.

Dr. Aron, standing among them, clenched his fists.

Even if he wasn't a warrior, even if he wasn't Solar or Lunar-he couldn't just stand there.

He turned to Henry and Marie.

"We have to do something. We can't let fear take over!"

Henry and Marie nodded.

They raised their hands, pouring even more Solar and Lunar energy into the massive barrier protecting the survivors.

Its glow intensified, shielding them further from the battle's shockwaves.

Henry called out:

"Everyone, don't give in to fear! We've come too far for that!"

Marie followed:

"This is our home! We will fight for it, no matter what!"

The survivors looked at each other.
