Safari stood frozen, still flustered from Angeleva's sudden closeness.
Safari (gritting his teeth): "This better not be one of your tricks, fairy."
Angeleva smirked, gently tracing her fingers down his arm.
Angeleva (whispering): "Oh, but it is, mosshead. Just play along."
Rebel narrowed his eyes. "Are you two seriously flirting in the middle of a battle?"
Angeleva suddenly leaned into Safari's ear.
Angeleva (whispering quickly): "You're strong, but brute force won't work here. We need to get our weapons. I'll distract him-you go for them. Got it?"
Safari's eyes widened, then he let out an irritated sigh.
Safari: "Tch... fine. But if you mess this up-"
Angeleva (grinning): "I won't. Now watch and learn."
Angeleva turned to Rebel, placing her hands on her hips.
Angeleva (sultry tone): "Oh my, General Rebel... you're quite strong, aren't you?"
Rebel blinked. "...Huh?"
She walked toward him slowly, swaying her hips gracefully.
Angeleva (smiling sweetly): "Tell me, do you always have this much fun toying with helpless little warriors like us?"
Rebel was caught off guard. "What are you getting at?"
Angeleva giggled, getting closer.
Angeleva: "Oh, nothing~ Just admiring how... powerful you are."
She lightly traced her fingers along his arm.
Rebel flinched, visibly uncomfortable.
Rebel: "Enough of this nonsense!"
Angeleva pretended to pout. "Oh, don't be like that. I just wanted to have a little... chat."
While Rebel was distracted, Safari silently dashed toward the pentagon, his eyes locked onto their Celestic Wand and Hammer.
Safari (thinking): "Just a little more..."
The weapons still pulsed with dark energy, but he didn't care.
The moment he reached them, he lunged forward, grabbing the hammer.
BOOM!
A dark explosion erupted the moment Safari touched the weapon, sending him flying backward.
Safari: "Argh...! Dammit!"
Angeleva turned in shock. "Mosshead!"
Rebel smirked, stepping away from her.
Rebel: "Did you really think you could just TAKE them? Foolish."
Safari groaned, struggling to get up.
Angeleva gritted her teeth. "Tch... guess seduction wasn't enough."
She ran toward Safari, helping him up.
Angeleva: "You okay?"
Safari (groaning): "Yeah... but that pentagon is more challenging than I thought."
Rebel: "The ritual has already absorbed too much of the weapons' energy. You'll never reclaim them now."
Angeleva and Safari exchanged glances.
Safari: "Got any more 'brilliant' ideas, fairy?"
Angeleva dusted herself off, giving Safari a sideways glance.
Angeleva: "Fine. We work together-just this once."
Safari crossed his arms, scowling.
Safari: "Tch... Don't get any ideas, fairy. As soon as we get our weapons, we go our separate ways."
Angeleva (smirking): "Oh, don't worry, mosshead. I don't want to see your ugly face ever again either."
They both turned toward Rebel, who was now watching them with amusement.
Rebel: "Oh? So the enemies are finally joining forces? How touching."
Angeleva flicked her hair back.
Angeleva: "Don't get used to it. It's just temporary."
Safari: "Yeah. After we're done here, we go back to our own ways."
They both charged at Rebel together.
Angeleva went high, leaping into the air with a graceful flip.
Safari went low, sprinting straight toward Rebel with brute force.
Rebel's eyes narrowed.
Rebel (thinking): "They're fast!"
Angeleva sent a flurry of fairy beams, keeping Rebel's attention above.
Safari took the chance to slam his fist into the ground, cracking the battlefield beneath Rebel.
Rebel stumbled slightly, just as Angeleva spun midair and sent a sharp spell-boosted kick to his face.
Rebel: "Gah...!"
He growled and swung his blade at Angeleva, but Safari intercepted, blocking with his bare arms.
Safari: "Heh. That all you got?"
Angeleva landed gracefully, brushing off her dress.
Angeleva (mocking): "I thought you were supposed to be tough, General."
Rebel snarled.
Rebel: "You pests...! You think you're clever?!"
Angeleva and Safari grinned at each other.
Safari: "Looks like working together isn't so bad after all."
Angeleva: "So, you have to admit my ideas always work."
Angeleva and Safari dashed toward the pentagon.
The dark energy around it flared, sensing their approach.
Angeleva: "We need to break the ritual before it completes!"
Safari: "No kidding! But how?!"
Angeleva's eyes glowed with realization.
Angeleva: "We need to touch our weapons at the same time!"
Safari: "Seriously?! That's your plan?!"
Angeleva: "Just trust me for once, mosshead! That is the only option I can think of."
Rebel completely caught off guard, heard what they were planning rushed forward.
Rebel: "I won't let you!"
Angeleva used fairy beams straight in Rebel's eyes blinding him for a few seconds as she soared towards the pentagon.
Safari dashed as fast as he could reaching for his weapon while Rebel was still trailing them even with the distraction.
At the last second, Angeleva and Safari lunged forward, grabbing their weapons together.
A blinding explosion of pink and sap-green energy erupted from the pentagon.
Rebel was blasted backward his fairy-devil form fading as a result of impact, roaring in frustration.
Angeleva and Safari felt their strength return, their bodies glowing with Celestic power.
Angeleva (smirking): "Now we're talking."
Safari (grinning): "Let's end this."
