Safari and his crew-Zack and Jen-followed the tracker's signal to their next destination. The spaceship landed on a seemingly normal planet, with bustling streets, cheerful markets, and people walking around as if everything was fine.
Safari (arms crossed): "Tch. This place is boring. No destruction, no chaos... no fun."
Zack: "You seriously need to find a new hobby."
Jen: "Or a better way to express yourself..."
As they strolled through the town, a sudden flash of light blinded them.
???: "Perfect! That's a fantastic shot!"
A young man, around 19, holding a camera, grinned at them from behind the lens. He wore a casual jacket, messy brown hair, and an obnoxious amount of energy.
???: "Welcome, travelers! Say cheese!"
Flash!
Safari growled, his eyes twitching.
Safari: "Oi! Who the hell are you?!"
The cameraman smirked.
Cameraman (with a mischievous smile): "Name's Ian! Master photographer, professional survivor, and the last one left on this planet!"
The trio blinked.
Jen: "Wait... what?"
Before they could say anything, Ian signalled to follow him looking a bit serious.
The trio followed sensing something wrong.
Ian led them to his small hideout, a dimly lit, abandoned house filled with stacks of photographs. Some showed happy families, others... horrifying images of people transforming into grotesque demons.
Ian (serious for once): "You see those people out there? They're not real. They're demons disguised as the original inhabitants."
Safari, Zack, and Jen exchanged shocked glances.
Jen: "But they look so... normal."
Ian (grimly): "That's the trick. They killed everyone and took their forms. I'm the only survivor because I was fast enough to hide...and run away. The demons somehow aren't able to recognise I am still the last survivor."
Safari's expression darkened.
Safari: "Who's leading these demons?"
Ian picked up a torn photo of a towering, monstrous figure with burning red eyes.
Ian: "The Demon General of this planet-Wrath."
Safari grinned, cracking his knuckles.
Safari: "Finally, some real fun!"
Jen sighed.
Jen: "You seriously enjoy this too much..."
Ian, however, was already snapping pictures.
Ian: "Oh, this is gonna be an epic showdown!"
Safari snatched the camera.
Safari: "Enough with the damn photos!"
Ian pouted.
Ian: "Hey! Gotta document history!"
Safari rolled his eyes before heading out. It was time to hunt down Wrath and show these demons what a true warrior looked like.
After an hour...
Safari stood uncomfortably in his new outfit-a plain brown jacket, a scarf, and round glasses, which Ian insisted would help him blend in.
They were standing near the dungeon doors.
Safari (grumbling): "This is the dumbest thing I've ever worn."
Ian (smirking): "Yeah, but if you go in screaming and swinging, they'll alert Wrath. This way, we sneak in!"
Safari rolled his eyes.
Safari: "I don't sneak. I smash."
Ian sighed dramatically.
Ian: "Look, big guy, I need epic action shots, not blurry mid-air ones just cuz you charge in like a lunatic."
Safari ignored him and kicked the dungeon doors open with a loud boom.
Safari: "HEY, DEMONS! I'M HERE TO BEAT THE HELL OUTTA YOU!"
Ian (facepalming): "...And there goes the plan."
The entire dungeon shook as hordes of demon guards swarmed toward Safari. He grinned, cracking his knuckles.
Safari(transforming): "Finally! A proper warm-up!"
He charged forward, fists flying, slamming demons into walls and sending them flying like ragdolls. Each hit echoed like an explosion.
Meanwhile, Ian was sneaking around, taking perfectly timed photos of Safari mid-punch.
Ian (whispering to himself): "Ooooh, that's a great shot. Look at that demon's face-absolutely priceless!"
As the battle intensified, Ian couldn't help but add comedic commentary.
Ian: "And down goes another demon! Oh, and would you look at that? That one's flying in circles-oh wait, never mind, he hit a wall."
Safari: "IAN, STOP TALKING!"
Meanwhile, Zack and Jen had secretly followed them, watching Safari wrecking everything in sight.
Zack (impressed): "Okay... I see why he acts tough."
Jen (nervously laughing): "We forgot he's terrifyingly strong."
After tearing through the dungeon, Safari finally reached the throne room. The air was heavy, and the room was dimly lit by torches.
Sitting on a massive, black stone throne was Wrath, a towering demon with dark red armor, glowing veins of fire, and piercing yellow eyes. His voice was like rumbling thunder.
Wrath: "I was wondering when you'd show up."
Safari cracked his knuckles, grinning.
Safari: "Yeah? You ready to lose?"
Wrath stood up, his presence overwhelming.
Wrath: "You're strong, but strength alone won't defeat me."
From an unnoticeable spot, Ian was already snapping photos, whispering excitedly.
Ian: "Ooooh, this is the perfect pre-battle shot. Gotta get the lighting just right-"
Meanwhile, Zack and Jen had also sneaked into a hidden spot.
Zack (whispering): "Okay, I gotta admit, I wanna see how this goes down."
Jen: "Me too... Let's stay out of sight and watch."
Meanwhile...
Far away from the dungeon, Angeleva had landed on the planet. She had been greeting and conversing with the 'people' to find leads when suddenly... they all charged at her!
Angeleva (shocked): "Oh, so you're NOT that friendly?!"
She dodged as dozens of them suddenly transformed into demonic creatures, lunging at her.
Angeleva: "Alright, I guess I'll just have to clean this mess up myself!"
She twirled her Celestic Fairy Wand, transforming into Pink Fairy Warrior and blasting them back.
With the battle aboveground and Safari facing Wrath underground, the planet was now in complete chaos.
The dungeon echoed with the sounds of clashing hammer blows as Safari and Wrath faced off in a ferocious battle.
Despite Safari's overwhelming strength, Wrath was no pushover. His attacks were brutal, fast, and precise, forcing Safari to dodge and counter instead of recklessly charging in.
Ian (whispering as he took photos): "Big guy's actually struggling? Damn, this is gonna make for some legendary battle shots!"
Safari gritted his teeth, feeling himself being pushed back. Wrath's monstrous fists slammed into him, forcing him into a corner. Then, with a sinister grin, Wrath launched his finisher, a devastating demonic blast that engulfed Safari.
Wrath (laughing): "And so ends the great warrior!"
But just as Wrath was about to celebrate, a heavy impact struck the back of his head!
Safari (smirking): "You talk too much."
Wrath stumbled forward in shock.
Safari: "I was just testing your limits, making you waste your energy. If I had charged in recklessly, I might've lost. But now... I know you're done."
Wrath's expression twisted with rage. This time, he attacked desperately, but Safari dodged effortlessly and countered with powerful hammer blows.
Safari used Devil Blast channeling his powers in his hammer to damage Wrath followed by his new technique.
Safari:"Devil's... Bat-Ball"
Ian commented :" That looks like a pretty solid attack but if it were me, I would have come up with a cooler name. Guess big guy has worse naming sense compared to an infant."
Safari:(furiously) "You annoying cameraman! I swear I will kill you after I finish this battle."
Ian:(fake tears) "Oh! I seemed to have hurt a sensible spot. Guess today is the end of Ian. Thanks for the support of viewers who enjoyed my commentary."
Safari growled.
Zack and Jen couldn't hold there laughter. Wrath somehow sensed their presence though he wasn't sure where they were.
Safari continued his strikes using Devil Flurry to overwhelm him followed by Devil Charge(hitting him hard with his horns)
He went on landing hits followed by Ian's free commentary.
But Wrath couldn't land a single hit.
Frustrated, Wrath's eyes darted around until he noticed Ian sneaking in the shadows.
Wrath (grinning): "So you brought an audience, huh?"
Before Safari could react, Wrath lunged and grabbed Ian by the collar.
Wrath: "Surrender now, or I'll crush him!"
Safari (deadpan): "Go ahead."
Ian's eyes widened in horror.
Ian (panicked): "WAIT, WHAT?! BIG GUY, I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS!"
Safari charged forward anyway, slamming Wrath with full force Devil Hammer Strike and Ian, thrown aside, landed comedically on his head.
Ian (groaning): "Okay... note to self: Big guy does NOT negotiate."
Wrath was now cornered. Desperate, he scanned the area and found Zack and Jen watching from their hiding spot.
Wrath (grinning): "Let's see if you care about these two!"
Before they could escape, Wrath grabbed Zack and Jen, lifting them into the air.
Wrath: "You think I don't know you don't care about that cameraman? But these two... they're different, aren't they?"
Safari's expression instantly changed.
For the first time, fear gripped his heart.
