In the vast throne chamber of Raven's lair, the atmosphere was tense. The swirling shadows surrounding the demon overlord pulsed with ominous energy. Patricia and Gregory stood before him, their confident smiles contrasting the cautious look in Raven's eyes.
Raven's voice boomed, low and commanding. "Why did you kill Lucifero right after reviving him, Gregory? "
Gregory shrugged, his devilish grin never wavering. "Obviously, he lost to those two weaklings. That makes him an even bigger weakling. Why keep someone like that around? He wasn't worthy of your forces."
Raven's eyes narrowed. "You took that upon yourself? Without my permission?"
Gregory stepped forward slightly, maintaining his bold stance. "You remember my condition for joining you, don't you? I made it clear - I'll lend my strength only if I'm free to eliminate any weakness within your ranks. That includes your demon generals. If they can't withstand the simplest of challenges, they're not worth keeping."
Patricia giggled, resting a hand on Gregory's shoulder. "And besides, I'm his partner. You found out all about me after you sent Gregory to save me from Angelica when Rebel was tearing it apart. You knew what I was capable of. Torturing weaklings? It's my specialty."
Raven's frown deepened. He couldn't deny the value of their power. Gregory and Patricia were no ordinary warriors. As Celestic Warriors, their destructive potential surpassed all his demon generals. Letting them go would be a dangerous mistake.
Gregory sensed Raven's internal conflict and pressed on. "You wouldn't want us to leave, would you? Trust me, it's not in your best interest. We are your elites. You know we are the ones who get results. But we do it our way."
Raven clenched his fists but exhaled slowly. "Fine. I understand. But there's something else."
His glowing eyes fixed on them. "You killed Asmo. One of my generals. And not just that - some of his surviving demons reached out to me. They claimed Patricia killed Asmo herself, and Gregory raided his castle." His voice dropped lower, almost growling. "You're not pulling something behind my back, are you?"
Gregory hesitated for a moment, a rare flicker of unease crossing his face. He was about to speak, but Patricia stepped forward with a playful smirk, twirling a strand of her hair.
"Oh, Raven," she purred, "that was just me having a little fun. I wanted to test out my new Celestic Warrior powers. But poor Asmo... he didn't even survive the test. Weaklings like him shouldn't wear the title of a general. And Greg? Well, he was simply doing what he does best - checking the strength of Asmo's defenses. If they crumbled under a single raid, it only proved how fragile they were."
Gregory quickly caught on and nodded. "Exactly. Consider it a stress test. No hard feelings, right? We're doing you a favor by exposing the flaws in your army."
Raven's glare lingered for a moment longer. Then, with a deep exhale, he leaned back on his throne. His presence still commanded the room, but the tension eased.
"It better be just that," Raven warned, his tone dripping with authority. "Because if I find out you're trying to play games with me... you'll both face my wrath."
Gregory bowed slightly, a grin still plastered on his face. "You can rely on us, Lord Raven."
Patricia chuckled softly, her amusement barely concealed. "We live to serve, after all."
Raven didn't respond, merely watching as the two Celestic Warriors turned and left the chamber. But even as they departed, the shadows around him pulsed with unease. Something about their carefree attitudes disturbed him. Yet for now, he would tolerate them - as long as they remained useful.
As they soared through the dark void of space, Gregory clung to Patricia's legs while she effortlessly carried him. Her wings gleamed with a faint purple hue as the two Celestic Warriors left Planet Satan behind. Despite the unsettling silence of space, their conversation was far from quiet.
Patricia's tone was sharp as she spoke. "I really don't like Raven's attitude. The way he looks at us, like we're just his tools." She scoffed. "That arrogance of his is irritating."
Gregory's face twisted into a sneer. "I've hated him from the moment I joined his ranks. Always acting like he's untouchable. But I've been playing along, waiting for my chance." He clenched his fists. "Raven may be powerful, but nobody is invincible. The moment he lets his guard down, or when we find out exactly how strong he is - that's when we'll strike. And when we do, I'll rip that smug grin off his face."
Patricia smirked. "And then? What, you'll rule in his place?"
Gregory's grin widened. "Not alone. I'd need your strength too. We'll rule together. A king and queen - feared across the universe. No one will stand in our way."
The thought of having absolute power over Raven's territory sent a thrill through Patricia. "And I get to rule as your queen? Torturing anyone we want, without limits?"
"Exactly," Gregory confirmed. "You'd be my equal. No one above us. Just the two of us, untouchable and unstoppable. Every weakling would tremble at the mere mention of our names."
Patricia's laughter echoed through the void, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "Then I don't mind carrying you at all. I'll do it as many times as you need, Greg. We're partners, after all."
Gregory nodded, his expression dark with satisfaction. "Good. But we'll have to be patient. Raven's no fool. He'll be watching us closely. Until we get the perfect opportunity, we'll play it smart. No suspicions, no reckless moves."
Patricia's lips curled mischievously. "But we don't have to sit idle. There are plenty of planets outside Raven's control. Weak little worlds that we can dominate for our own amusement. No one would suspect a thing if we were simply... having a little fun."
Gregory's grin returned, more devilish than ever. "Exactly what I was thinking. Let's see how many planets crumble beneath us. And when the time is right... Raven will meet the same fate."
With that resolve, the two Celestic Warriors soared through space, their dark ambitions lingering like a shadow across the stars. The universe would soon feel the weight of their twisted desires.
Meanwhile...
Raven stood before a massive, cracked mirror in the dimly lit chamber. The reflection within the mirror twisted unnaturally, revealing the monstrous face of his strongest Demon General - Zozo. With blood-red eyes and jagged horns, Zozo's presence radiated pure malice. His mouth twisted into a wicked grin as he awaited his orders.
"Zozo," Raven's voice echoed coldly. "Angeleva. The fairy who dared stand against us. She was the key to Lucifero's downfall. I want her eliminated."
Zozo's grin widened. "Consider it done, Lord Raven. But I'll need something to track her. A piece of her energy, perhaps?"
Raven's eyes gleamed with satisfaction. "I already anticipated that. After Lucifero's failure, I scavenged the remains of Rebel - what little was left. Her energy lingered there. It's faint, but it's enough."
Raising his hand, Raven conjured a swirling dark orb. Within it pulsed a trace of Angeleva's bright fairy energy, mixed with traces of corrupted demonic power. The contrast between light and dark flickered violently as if the two forces rejected one another.
Zozo's eyes locked onto the orb through the mirror. "Perfect. That's all I need." He chuckled, his deep voice reverberating. "Once I've tracked her, there will be nowhere for her to run. And when I find her... she'll regret ever crossing us."
"Good," Raven said, his expression darkening. "Do not underestimate her. Lucifero did, and now he's dead. But you are not Lucifero. You are stronger. Make sure she suffers."
Zozo bowed his head, his horns scraping the edges of the mirror's frame. "I will bring you her broken wings as proof."
The mirror's reflection twisted and faded as Zozo's image disappeared. The dark energy within the chamber swirled as Raven's expression remained stoic. Yet behind his composed façade, a spark of anticipation flickered.
"Angeleva," he muttered to himself. "Your time is running out."
Meanwhile, Zozo's monstrous form emerged from the shadows of his lair. Dark tendrils of energy slithered across the cracked stone floor as he channeled the signature from the orb Raven had provided.
"Fairy light..." Zozo growled, feeling the energy signature resonate within him. "Foolish creature. Your radiance will soon be snuffed out."
He raised his clawed hands, focusing on the lingering traces of Angeleva's presence. The energy weaved through the air like glowing strands, leading him like a trail through the void of space.
"Run all you like," Zozo sneered. "But no light escapes the darkness forever."
Meanwhile...
The warm embrace of the Safari Family lingered as Safari stood tall, the last traces of his injuries fading. His body, once battered, now bore the strength he was known for. Zack's healing, the family's support and Angeleva's relentless energy transfer had restored him, leaving him grateful beyond words. Jen smiled brightly, relieved to see her big brother figure standing once again. Ian, always eager for a story, fumbled for his camera, muttering something about "the perfect recovery shot."
Olive crossed her arms, hiding her relief beneath her usual stoicism. "Try not to throw yourself into near-death fights again," she muttered, though her concern was evident.
But Safari's gaze quickly shifted to Angeleva. She stood a few steps away, visibly exhausted. Though her body remained upright, the toll of transferring most of her energy to him was undeniable. Her pink hair seemed dimmer, and the usual glimmer in her violet eyes was faint.
Safari approached her, sincerity etched across his face. He extended his hand, his rugged fingers trembling slightly. "Angeleva," he said, his voice low. "Thank you. You gave everything to save me. I owe you my life."
Angeleva blinked, taken aback by the gesture. She hesitated, her fingers twitching, but as her hand reached for his, a deep, menacing voice shattered the calm.
"How touching."
Before anyone could react, a dark clawed hand erupted from a swirling vortex of shadows behind Angeleva. The force of its appearance distorted the air, sending chills through the room. The claw gripped her tightly, pulling her into an abyss.
Angeleva gasped, her wings fluttering weakly as her body twisted in the demon's grasp. From the shadows emerged a towering figure, his malicious grin glowing through the darkness. His eyes burned with a crimson hue, and twisted black horns curved from his skull like a crown. A pitch-black cloak of dark mist trailed behind him, reeking of malevolence.
"I am General Zozo, the strongest general of Lord Raven. Whoever faced me didn't live to tell the tale." The Dark Figure introduced himself.
"You...!" Safari's voice roared, his fists clenching with seething rage. "Let her go!"
Zozo's laughter echoed through the spaceship, vibrating with pure malice. "Ah, so quick to react. But too late." He tightened his grip around Angeleva, who groaned in pain. "The fairy who dared to stand against us. Lucifero fell because of you. But don't think victory comes without consequence."
Angeleva struggled, her hands gripping Zozo's arm in a futile attempt to break free. Yet the crushing force of his grip and the oppressive waves of his dark energy overwhelmed her. The exhaustion from saving Safari left her defenseless. Her radiant wings flickered weakly, and her face twisted in agony.
"Stop!" Safari lunged forward, his devil aura igniting with fury. But Zozo moved swiftly, sidestepping the charge without releasing Angeleva.
"Pitiful," Zozo sneered. "Even in your current state, you think you can stop me?" He then opened a dark portal beneath them, the edges flickering like tendrils of flame. The twisted vortex bore the symbol of a pentagon - a demonic seal.
Angeleva's terrified eyes locked with Safari's. "Safari...!" Her voice was frail, barely audible, but the desperate plea was clear.
"No!" Safari roared, diving towards the portal.
Zozo's mocking voice echoed from within the portal.
"Come find me, if you dare. I'll be waiting at my home-HELLSGATE."
In an instant, Zozo's monstrous form sank into the depths, Angeleva disappearing with him. The portal sealed shut, leaving nothing but lingering traces of dark energy.
Safari crashed to the ground, the rage and despair swirling within him. His fists slammed against the floor, the tremors echoing throughout the ship. "Damn it!" He gasped, his breath ragged. "Angeleva..."
