After running for what felt like an eternity, Safari and Angeleva collapsed near a half-buried ruin.
The air was still.
They were safe—for now.
Safari gently laid Angeleva down, his own body aching from the brutal clash.
“We… did it,” she whispered, breath ragged.
Then—
A warm glow filled the space.
Legend’s God Sphere materialized overhead, and at its core stood Zack, hands already raised, his face firm with resolve.
“Hold on—I’ll heal you both!”
Golden light poured forth, flooding the ruin with radiance.
Safari exhaled sharply as the energy coursed through him, easing the pain. The fury in his chest still smoldered—but his mind began to clear.
Minutes later, Zack collapsed to one knee, drenched in sweat.
“That should… hold you,” he panted, wiping his brow.
Safari flexed his fingers. Strength was returning.
Angeleva stretched her wings, the ache almost gone.
They met each other’s eyes—no words needed.
It was time.
Back in the ruins, Raven prowled, his scowl deepening.
“Where… did they crawl off to?” he muttered, scanning for their presence.
Then—
A sudden shift.
His instincts screamed.
WHOOSH!
A hammer came hurtling at his skull.
He barely twisted away—
CRASH! The impact shattered a stone pillar to dust.
“Tch—”
Before he could recover, a lance streaked toward him. He snapped sideways, the blast grazing his cheek.
Landing lightly, he lifted his gaze—
And froze.
Safari and Angeleva stood atop the rubble, fully healed, their auras blazing.
Safari rested his Devil Hammer across his shoulders, smirking.
“We’re back.”
Angeleva twirled her wand, wings glowing bright.
“And this time… we finish it.”
They transformed and struck in perfect unison.
Safari’s Devil Hammer Swing came first, heavy and brutal.
Angeleva’s Fairy Lance pierced immediately after, forcing Raven onto the defensive.
He dodged—
Only for Safari to drop behind him with Devil Hammer Smash.
Angeleva dove from above, her Blossom Kick snapping against his guard.
Raven grunted as vines of fairy light coiled around his arms—
Too late.
“Devil Hammer Explosion!”
BOOOOM!
The blast swallowed him, hurling his body through the ruins. Dust swallowed the field.
Silence.
Then—
Laughter.
From the rubble, Raven rose, coughing blood but grinning wider than ever.
“Heh… heh… HAHAHAHA!”
His eyes gleamed with feral delight.
“YES! This… THIS is what I wanted!”
His aura flared, violent, crushing.
For the first time—his fists clenched with genuine intent to kill.
“Let’s see how far you two can really go!”
He lunged, fist crackling with raw energy.
But this time—
Safari had already slipped aside, missing death by inches.
Angeleva spun midair, evading his follow-up strike aimed at her wings.
They moved as one.
Not two warriors—
But a single rhythm.
Raven’s kick carved through the air. Safari ducked low; Angeleva soared high.
“Fairy Burst!”
Golden light smashed into Raven’s side—
And Safari’s hammer followed, slamming his ribs.
BOOM!
Raven staggered back, snarling—
Only to eat a Blossom Kick to the chest that sent him spinning.
He landed hard, panting, eyes narrowed.
“You’re… keeping up?”
Safari cracked his knuckles.
“We weren’t planning to waste this strength so soon.”
Angeleva’s wings spread wide.
“But after what you did—we have no choice.”
Their auras surged together, intertwining, amplifying.
Raven clicked his tongue, irritation twisting his face.
“Tch. Annoying pests…”
Safari smirked.
“Then let’s be even worse.”
They charged.
Raven’s fist ripped through the air—empty.
“Fairy Lance!”
Angeleva’s strike drove into his spine, staggering him forward.
“Devil Hammer Strike!”
Safari’s hammer blasted into his gut, sending him reeling.
“Fairy Lance Barrage!”
Dozens of radiant lances rained down, detonating against his chest and hurling him through a tower.
On Hellsgate, Ian screamed into his camera.
“THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE! Ladies and gentlemen, history is being written RIGHT NOW! Demon General Raven—getting clowned like a third-rate thug!”
Prisoners gasped in disbelief.
Even Legend allowed a chuckle from within his God Sphere.
“YOU DAMN BRATS!!”
Raven erupted from the rubble, eyes burning, aura exploding in every direction. Dark blades and spheres ripped across the battlefield in a storm of destruction.
Safari and Angeleva slipped between them, weaving, countering, grinning as they did.
Calm.
Focused.
Untouchable.
Raven’s precision cracked, frustration boiling over.
And in every opening—
Safari’s hammer crushed his guard.
Angeleva’s blossom kicks and radiant beams tore through his balance.
They weren’t just fighting him anymore.
They were dancing around him.
And Raven—for the first time—
Looked like prey.
