As the battle raged on, Safari and Angeleva were slowly getting the edge over Raven, thanks to their synchronisation.
Every time Raven missed, Safari would smirk.
Every time he was hit, Angeleva would giggle.
They were humiliating him.
His aura flared wildly, his fists trembling in anger.
"THAT'S IT!!"
His voice roared across the battlefield, his energy shaking the very ground.
"I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!"
Safari and Angeleva braced themselves.
Even the shadowy figures hidden in the distance couldn't hold back their laughter.
"Pfft... This is the feared Raven?" one of them sneered.
"This is more of a joke than a battle." the other chuckled.
Safari smirked, cracking his knuckles. "What's wrong, Raven? You look a little... dizzy?"
Angeleva playfully twirled her Fairy Wand. "You sure you're using 60%? Feels more like... 6%."
Raven's veins bulged in pure rage.
"YOU LITTLEâ"
He charged againâswinging wildly.
But they weren't even taking him seriously anymore.
Safari casually leaned back as Raven's punch barely missed his face.
Angeleva, mid-air, did a little twirl, dodging another attack with elegance.
"Oops, missed again!" Safari laughed.
Angeleva wagged her finger. "Tsk, tsk, so slow!"
The more Raven's frustration grew, the sloppier he got.
And the easier it was for them to dance around him.
Back in Hellsgate, Ian was losing it.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WELCOME TO THE GREATEST SHOW OF ALL TIMEâRAVEN THE RAGING CLOWN!!"
The prisoners erupted in laughter.
Zack, Jen, Oliveâeven Legend himselfâwere struggling to keep a straight face.
Ian zoomed in on Raven's furious, twitching face.
"Look at him! The poor guy is trying SO hard, and yetâNOTHING! NOTHING WORKS! The synchronization gods, Safari and Angeleva, are absolutely clowning this man!"
Even some of the prisoners who had once feared Raven were now laughing.
"He looks like he's breakdancing!" one of them joked as Raven stumbled from another dodged attack.
Ian gasped dramatically. "Oh no! Somebody call the medics! Raven's PRIDE just suffered a fatal injury!"
Raven finally snapped.
"I WILL KILL YOU BOTH!!"
His entire aura exploded outward, shaking the battlefield.
The mocking had pushed him past his limit.
Safari and Angeleva grinned.
They had him right where they wanted.
Raven was losing.
For the first time in who knows how long, he was actually struggling.
"I CAN'T LOSE! I WON'T LOSE TO YOU!!!" Raven roared.
But his rage only rewarded him with more synchronized attacks.
A brutal Devil Hammer Swing to the gut.
A piercing Fairy Lance to the shoulder.
A devastating Devil Hammer Incineration to the chest.
Hit after hit, he was being pushed back.
Thenâit finally happened.
Raven fell to his knees.
Safari and Angeleva circled him.
"We're done playing." Safari cracked his knuckles.
"Time to end this," Angeleva said coldly.
Back in Hellsgate, Ian was vibrating with excitement.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE MOMENT WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FORâTHE FINAL BEATDOWN!!"
The prisoners were cheering like a stadium crowd.
"Get him!!"
"Make him regret his life choices!"
Ian zoomed in on Raven's exhausted face.
"And here we see a rare, endangered speciesâA WEAKENED RAVEN. Once thought to be invincible, this poor creature is now facing EXTINCTION!"
The camera panned to Safari and Angeleva, preparing their finisher attacks.
"Ohhh boy, the grand finale is upon us!!" Ian hyped.
ThenâRaven froze.
Something clicked in his mind.
He had lost his composure.
He had let himself become emotional.
That was why he was losing.
No.
NO.
His eyes sharpened. His breath steadied.
The moment Safari's Devil Hammer Smash and Angeleva's Fairy Justice Beam launchedâ
BOOM!
A massive burst of energy erupted from Raven's body.
Safari and Angeleva were blasted back, crashing into the ground.
They coughed, struggling to get up.
Raven slowly rose to his feet, his aura darker, heavier, monstrous.
His wounds were healing rapidly.
His body grew larger. His horns sharpened. His eyes glowed blood-red.
His 75% form.
The laughter stopped.
The prisoners and Ian stiffened.
For the first time, Raven looked like real trouble.
Safari and Angeleva locked eyes.
They held hands, gripping tightly.
They didn't need words.
They just knewâ
This fight had just entered its deadliest phase.
