Chapter 142: The Desperate Flight to Satan Planet

Safari lay on the ground, barely clinging to life. His body was covered in wounds, bruises, and deep gashes from his brutal battle with Raven. His breathing was ragged, his muscles barely responding. The immense power of his Forbidden Devil Form had pushed him beyond his limits, and now he could barely move.

As he struggled to stay conscious, a shadow loomed over him.

A strong hand gripped his collar and lifted him effortlessly into the air.

"Well, well, well... Look who's still breathing."

Safari's tired eyes slowly opened, and through his blurred vision, he saw a grinning face.

It was Gregory in his Celestic Warrior form.

Safari's body tensed. Even in his weakened state, his instincts screamed danger.

Gregory's grin widened as he inspected Safari's beaten form.

"You've really been through hell, haven't you, kid?" Gregory chuckled. "But don't worry. I saved you for a reason."

Safari weakly groaned, trying to move, but Gregory tightened his grip.

"Who... are you...?" Safari whispered, his mind barely functioning.

Patricia giggled from behind. "Oh? You don't recognize us?"

Then—

In a flash of light, they detransformed..

And what was left—

Were Gregory and Patricia in there normal form.

Safari's eyes widened in shock.

"No way..." he whispered, his heart pounding.

"Gregory and Patricia... It was you?!"

Gregory laughed, patting Safari's face mockingly. "That's right, kid. Surprised?"

Safari's memories came rushing back.

Gregory. The brutal mentor who had once trained him in Sappy. The same man who had enjoyed beating Safari like a punching bag during their training.

Patricia. The sadistic fairy who killed Angeleva's mother .

And now—

They were the ones who had defeated Raven.

Gregory smirked. "You see, I really enjoyed beating you up back then. It was fun! And now, guess what?"

His grip tightened around Safari's collar, choking him slightly.

"I get to do it again."

Safari gritted his teeth, trying to gather any remaining strength, but his body wouldn't respond. He was completely at their mercy.

Patricia stepped forward, her eyes gleaming with excitement.

"I can't wait to get my hands on Angeleva," she said with a wicked smile. "She's probably in no shape to fight after that battle... She'll be easy to break."

Safari's eyes darkened.

"You won't touch her," he growled weakly.

Gregory tilted his head mockingly. "Oh? And how are you gonna stop us? Look at yourself, kid. You can't even stand."

Patricia smirked, twirling an arrow between her fingers. "So? Where is she?"

Safari narrowed his eyes, forcing out his words.

"She's... somewhere you'll never reach."

Patricia frowned. "What?"

Gregory scowled. "Tch. Quit playing games."

Safari forced a weak grin.

"I transported her... to a safe place."

Patricia's eyes twitched in irritation. "Where?"

Safari exhaled, his voice barely above a whisper.

"She's... in Hellsgate. Under Legend's protection."

Patricia's expression immediately soured.

"Tch. Don't tell me the ancient fossil, once sealed by Zozo is roaming free."

Gregory clicked his tongue. "Damn. That old god will be a pain to deal with."

Safari felt a small sense of relief.

At least Angeleva was safe.

At least they couldn't get to her.

Patricia's smug smile faltered slightly, while Gregory's grip on Safari's collar tightened in frustration. But then, Gregory laughed, a cruel and amused sound.

"Oh, Safari... That just makes things more fun. If we can't get to Angeleva, then we'll just make sure you suffer twice as much in her place." He threw Safari onto the ground like discarded trash, rolling up his sleeves as he stepped closer, casting a shadow over him.

Safari winced but still glared up at them, unyielding. Even at death's door, he refused to break.

Angeleva's eyes fluttered open. Her head was pounding, her body aching all over. As she sat up, she realized she was no longer on Satan Planet.

She was in Hellsgate.

"You're awake," a deep voice said.

She turned to see God Legend standing beside her.

And behind him—

Zack, Jen, Olive, Ian, and the freed prisoners.

But their faces were filled with grief.

Something was wrong.

"What... happened?" Angeleva asked, her voice trembling.

Legend hesitated. Then, with a heavy sigh, he answered:

"Safari... used the forbidden technique of Sappy."

Angeleva's heart stopped.

"What?" she whispered.

Legend continued. "He used a technique that allows him to gain monstrous power, but... at the cost of his life. He intended to use it to kill Raven. Right now, I am not able to sense Raven's aura anymore which means Safari is—"

Angeleva's eyes widened.

"NO!"

She shook her head furiously.

"No, no, no... This isn't happening!"

Tears spilled from her eyes as she clenched her fists.

"You're telling me... that while I was lying here useless... Safari was out there... fighting alone?"

Her entire body trembled.

Zack, Jen, and the others could only look down in sorrow.

But Angeleva wasn't just sad—she was furious.

She snapped her head toward Legend, her eyes burning with rage.

"How dare you let him fight alone?!" she screamed.

Legend remained silent.

Angeleva stared at him with raw fury.

"Answer me!"

Legend finally muttered, "I admired his resolve."

Angeleva's rage exploded.

"His resolve?! His resolve?! HE'S GOING TO DIE, YOU IDIOT!"

She was acting mad, desperate, uncontrollable.

She grabbed her fairy wand, her wings flaring out.

"I don't care what it takes—I'm going there right now!"

Zack, Jen, Olive—no one could stop her.

Before anyone could react—

Angeleva took off into the sky, flying at full speed.

Straight to Satan Planet.

The family called out to her, but in her mad desperation and grief, she refused to listen. Her only thought was reaching Safari.

_ _ _

As she shot through the sky, leaving behind a dazzling pink trail, everyone in Hellsgate stood frozen.

No one could stop her.

The prisoners, Zack, Jen, Olive, and Ian watched in stunned silence.

They had never seen such desperation, such determination.

Patrick clenched his fists. "She's really serious about saving him, isn't she?"

Grace nodded, her voice unsteady. "Yeah... and we couldn't even talk to her properly."

Tyra, sighed. "She fought for us. She fought against Raven... and we never even got the chance to thank her."

"We didn't even introduce ourselves," another prisoner muttered.

"We didn't tell her how much her actions meant to us."

A wave of regret spread through the crowd.

Legend, the almighty god, was speechless.

This... this was not supposed to happen.

For the first time in ages, Legend couldn't process what was unfolding.

He had watched countless battles. Seen warriors rise and fall.

But never had he witnessed something like this.

Zack's hands trembled. "She's... really going to save him."

Jen wiped her tears, her voice shaking. "Of course she is. She loves him."

Ian, normally the loudest, was quiet for once. He slowly lifted his camera, whispering, "I need to document this... This is history."

Olive gritted her teeth. "Damn it... I hate feeling so helpless."

The entire planet of Hellsgate watched as Angeleva disappeared into the distant sky, heading toward the heart of darkness—toward Planet Satan.

And for the first time, the people left behind...

felt powerless.
