Chapter 143: Escape from Planet Satan

Angeleva's heart pounded as she soared through the void of space, heading straight for Planet Satan.

Tears blurred her vision as Legend's words replayed in her mind.

"I can't sense Raven's aura anymore."

That could only mean one thing.

Safari was already gone.

Her body trembled, but she forced herself to push forward. She had to see him one last time.

Just once.

Even if it was just his lifeless body... she needed to see his face.

To tell him...

To tell him how much he meant to her.

She descended rapidly, piercing through the dark, ominous skies of Planet Satan.

The air was thick with despair.

Every step toward Raven's throne room felt like an unbearable eternity.

And when she finally arrived...

Her heart shattered.

Inside the throne room, Gregory's laughter echoed through the air.

Safari was barely alive.

His body was bruised, battered, and covered in blood.

Gregory was beating him relentlessly, grinning like he was having the time of his life.

Each punch sounded like a sickening crack.

Each kick forced a weak grunt from Safari, his body barely able to react.

And Patricia...

She stood nearby, watching the torture like it was completely normal.

Her arms were crossed. A smirk played on her lips, her eyes filled with amusement.

It was like she was watching a show.

Angeleva's body froze.

Her wings stopped fluttering.

Tears spilled from her eyes like an endless river.

This...

This was not what she expected. Safari was alive... but suffering. And it was them. Gregory. The man who was behind the death of Safari's sister and tormented him during his training. Patricia. The one who took her mother from her. She couldn't stand it. She wouldn't stand it. "FAIRY JUSTICE BEAM!" A blinding burst of light shot from her Fairy Wand, slamming into Gregory's chest. His eyes widened in shock as the energy forced him back, momentarily halting his movements. It wasn't enough to harm him—just enough to stall him. But that was all she needed. "Safari!" She rushed forward, grabbing his barely conscious body and wrapping her arms tightly around his neck and shoulders. His skin was cold. His breathing was shallow. "Hold on!" she whispered, her voice breaking. Then— She took off. Her wings fluttered violently, pushing her and Safari off the ground. They soared upward, escaping through the broken ceiling of the throne room. Gregory's furious roar shook the castle. "YOU DAMN FAIRY!" He lunged forward, fists clenched, ready to crush them both— But— A hand stopped him. Patricia. Her lips curled into a sinister smile. "Let her go." Gregory glared at her. "What?!" Patricia slowly lifted her bow, nocking a dark, twisted arrow onto the string. "This is my turn now." She took aim. With deadly precision, she released the arrow— Straight at Angeleva. Angeleva felt a sharp sting in her shoulder. Her body tensed. Pain immediately spread through her veins like liquid fire. Her wings faltered. Her breath hitched. It was the same kind of poison Patricia used against Raven. A poison that weakens even the strongest warriors. She was losing strength fast. But— She clenched her teeth, forcing herself to keep flying. Even with the poison. Even with every nerve in her body screaming in pain. She had to get Safari away. No matter what. Patricia let out a mocking laugh. "Struggle all you want. You won't get far." Gregory smirked. "She's just prolonging her suffering." But— Angeleva ignored them. She just kept flying. As far as she could. Even as the poison spread through her body... Even as her vision blurred... Even as her wings weakened... She held onto Safari tighter. Looking at that Patricia chased her landing more shots. Angeleva gritted her teeth, her wings barely keeping her in the air as Patricia relentlessly pursued her. More arrows rained down, barely missing her. Some she dodged by sheer willpower— Others grazed her, cutting deep into her skin. Each hit sent jolts of pain through her body. Her vision blurred. Her grip on Safari weakened. But— She refused to let go. Patricia, flying effortlessly behind her, grinned with sadistic glee. "You're really struggling, aren't you, Fairy?" She fired another volley. Angeleva barely dodged. The next arrow pierced her thigh. She screamed in pain but kept flying. Gregory, watching from below, laughed. "Well, that was fun. But I think it's over now." He stretched his arms lazily, then grinned. "I'll leave the rest to you, Patty. Go ahead and enjoy yourself." Patricia smirked and nocked another arrow. "With pleasure." She fired. Angeleva twisted mid-air, dodging. But another arrow hit her shoulder. She gasped, her body convulsing from the poison spreading further. Patricia kept firing. Each arrow was aimed with deadly precision. Each strike was meant to hurt—not kill. Because Patricia was enjoying every second of this. Angeleva bit her lip, suppressing her shrieks. But Patricia... She was loving those sounds. "Scream louder, Fairy. It suits you." Angeleva kept flying. Kept fighting. Kept holding on. But her body was losing strength. She could feel her grip on Safari slipping. That's when- Safari's eyes fluttered open. His body ached. His vision was hazy as he felt warmth. He realized he was being carried by Angeleva who was— Bloodied. Struggling. Suffering. Flying through sheer willpower while arrows rained upon her. His eyes widened as he looked up. "Angeleva... what the hell are you doing?" His voice was weak. But filled with shock. Angeleva, despite everything, smiled weakly. "What does it look like?" Safari gritted his teeth as he looked behind. "This is reckless!" "There's no way I'm letting you fall into their hands!" she snapped. Safari felt his chest tighten. Even like this, she was still fighting for him. But— She was losing. Patricia was catching up. Angeleva's wings were faltering. Her grip was slipping. Her breath was ragged. She was at her limit. In Hellsgate, God Legend sat before his God Sphere. For a while, he had been frozen in disbelief. But then— After pulling out his God Sphere, He saw Angeleva's face. Her tears. Her determination. Her suffering. And— Her hand trembling as she tried to hold onto Safari. She was about to fall. Legend's eyes widened in alarm. "No." He raised his hands— And activated his divine power. At the last second— A golden light enveloped Angeleva and Safari. Patricia's eyes widened. "What—?!" In an instant, they vanished.

Back in Hellsgate

Angeleva and Safari reappeared in Hellsgate, surrounded by the worried family. Zack, shocked, immediately rushed to heal them. Angeleva, still trembling, held onto Safari desperately. Even now, she refused to let go. Tears poured from her eyes. "I almost... lost you..." she whispered weakly. Safari, still in pain, just stared at her. He had no words. Everyone around them was speechless. Even Legend, despite being the one who saved them, couldn't process what had just happened. He exhaled slowly. "That was... too close." Back on Planet Satan, Patricia clicked her tongue. "Tch. I was just getting to the best part." She turned to Gregory, slightly disappointed. "They got away." Gregory, however, was completely unfazed. He simply grinned. "Doesn't matter." He walked toward the throne where Raven's corpse lay. With a chuckle, he sat down. "There's a better fun waiting for us." Patricia raised an eyebrow. "Oh?" Gregory smirked. "Raven is dead." He leaned back comfortably, his eyes gleaming with wicked delight. "And that means..." Patricia smiled, stepping forward. "We rule now." Gregory laughed. "Exactly. Planet Satan belongs to us now." Patricia let out a mocking sigh as she leaned against his throne. "To think that fool actually thought we were loyal to him." Gregory chuckled. "Everything went according to plan." Patricia's smile widened. "And now..." She turned to Gregory, a dark glint in her eyes. "We are the most feared rulers of the Demon Kingdom." Their laughter echoed through the throne room— Announcing their rule.
