As soon as Mike and Heidi left, everyone turned to Safari and Angeleva.
The air suddenly felt heavy.
Safari blinked. "Uh... why is everyone staring at us?"
Angeleva crossed her arms. "Yes, what's the problem?"
Ian smirked, flipping open his camera. "The problem is you two are clearly in love but too stubborn to admit it."
Zack, Jen, and Olive all nodded.
Safari and Angeleva stiffened.
"What?!" they both shouted at the same time.
Tyra, Rojo, Blaine, and the prisoners grinned.
"Oh, this is gonna be fun," Tyra whispered.
Olive sighed. "Let's be real here. You two have been through so much together, and it's obvious you care about each other. So what's stopping you?"
Safari and Angeleva avoided eye contact.
Jen grinned. "Is it because one's a fairy and one's a devil?"
Safari grumbled. "That... and maybe a few other things."
Angeleva looked away, her face slightly pink. "We just... have different worlds."
Ian waved his hands. "Oh, come on! Have you heard of the phrase 'opposites attract'? You're literally the perfect example of that!"
"Yeah!" Zack added. "You guys are basically like a fairy tale!"
"A really stubborn one," Jen muttered.
Safari groaned. "I don't have time for romance."
Angeleva huffed. "Neither do I."
Blaine smirked. "Then why did Safari tried to sacrifice himself for Angeleva?"
Tyra added, "Why did Angeleva desperately tried to save Safari knowing it was just too risky for her in that condition?"
Rojo raised an eyebrow. "And most important point you both clearly admitted you love each other."
Safari and Angeleva immediately stiffened.
"WE DO NOT!" they both shouted, looking defensive.
The group exchanged knowing looks.
Ian grinned deviously.
"Alright, team. This calls for a mission: Operation Get Safari and Angeleva Together!"
Safari and Angeleva immediately backed away.
"Wait, WHAT?!" they shouted.
Olive smirked. "Oh, it's happening."
The prisoners cheered, ready to play matchmaker.
Safari and Angeleva knew they were doomed.
After an hour...
The group gathered in a secret meeting inside the castle, whispering like they were planning a heist.
Ian, holding a notebook, adjusted his camera. "Alright, people. We have one mission: Make big bro and big sis realize their feelings. We've got multiple plans. Let's execute them flawlessly."
Olive crossed her arms. "Or at least make them stop being so stubborn."
Jen grinned. "Let's do this!"
And so, the matchmaking operation began.
Phase 1: The Romantic Setting
Tyra, Rojo, and Blaine decorated a special dinner in a quiet, moonlit spot on Hellsgate.
Jen and Patrick cooked an amazing meal to set the mood.
Ian positioned cameras to capture the "moment of realization."
Safari and Angeleva were tricked into thinking it was just a regular meal.
The Result:
Safari ate too fast, ruining any conversation.
Angeleva, not even realizing the setup, spent most of the time lecturing Safari about manners.
Ian was furious, yelling "Eat slower, you romance-blocking brute!"
Instead of falling in love, Safari and Angeleva ended up arguing about food etiquette.
Verdict: Failure.
Phase 2: The Jealousy Trap
Tyra pretended to flirt with Safari.
Rojo flirted with Angeleva.
The goal was to make them jealous and confess their feelings.
The Result:
Safari was completely oblivious. He just casually talked to Tyra, thinking it was normal.
Angeleva ignored Rojo, even giving him fighting tips instead of getting jealous.
Tyra and Rojo got exhausted trying to act seductive.
Safari and Angeleva remained totally unaffected.
Verdict: Failure.
Phase 3: The "Accidental" Love Confession
Jen and Zack wrote fake letters to each of them, pretending they were from the other person, with confessions of love.
The idea was to shock them into realizing their real feelings.
The Result:
Safari read his letter and laughed. "This is a weird prank. Angeleva would never say this."
Angeleva read her letter and got annoyed. "Safari would never write something this poetic. He can barely read half the time."
They immediately figured out the trick and scolded Zack and Jen.
Ian facepalmed, muttering about how this should have worked in theory.
Verdict: Failure.
Phase 4: The Life-or-Death Fake Scenario
The prisoners staged a fake battle, making it look like Angeleva was in danger.
The idea was to make Safari panic and confess his feelings in the heat of the moment.
The Result:
Safari immediately jumped into battle mode.
Instead of confessing, he annihilated the entire fake threat in 10 seconds.
Angeleva wasn't impressed and simply asked if the fight was real or staged.
The prisoners were terrified at how fast Safari ended the fight.
Ian collapsed on the floor. "WHY DOES NOTHING WORK?!"
Verdict: Failure.
The Aftermath: Total Despair
The entire group sat in defeat.
Ian looked broken, shaking his head. "No footage... no romance... all wasted effort..."
Zack and Jen sighed. "They're impossible."
Olive rubbed her temples. "This is hopeless."
The prisoners gave up, saying, "They're thicker than a demon's skull."
Meanwhile...
Safari and Angeleva watched them, completely confused.
Safari: "Why do they look so exhausted?"
Angeleva: "No idea..."
The team realized that if even four different plans failed, this was going to be a long battle.
After all their failed matchmaking attempts, the group sat in total defeat. Ian, Zack, Jen, Olive, and the prisoners all looked mentally and physically drained.
Safari and Angeleva, on the other hand, remained completely unaware of what had just happened, looking at the exhausted group with confusion.
That's when Legend finally stepped in, his presence radiating authority.
He crossed his arms and spoke in a deep, commanding voice.
"Enough of this nonsense."
Everyone immediately frozeāeven Ian stopped complaining.
"You cannot force love. If Safari and Angeleva are meant to be together, they must find the courage to admit their feelings on their own. It is not your place to interfere in such a personal matter."
The entire group lowered their heads in shame.
"Think about itāhave they ever been ones to be told what to do?"
They all thought about it.
Safari: A devil warrior who does whatever he wants and follows his own path.
Angeleva: A proud fairy warrior who refuses to be controlled or manipulated.
Yeah... trying to force them together was never going to work.
Ian, usually filled with enthusiasm, looked completely defeated. He dramatically collapsed onto the floor.
"I give up... I give up on documenting their romance... I don't care anymore... I just want them to end up together already... WHY IS THIS SO HARD?!"
Jen patted his back. "You really put your whole heart into it, huh?"
Zack sighed. "We all did."
Legend sighed, shaking his head.
"Love is not a scripted fairy tale. It takes time. Maybe they will end up together, maybe they won'tāthat is up to them. Not you. You must let them figure this out themselves."
The group slowly nodded in understanding.
Safari and Angeleva had been watching this entire conversation.
Safari scratched his head. "Wait... was all of this about me and Angeleva?"
Angeleva blinked. "They were trying to set us up?"
The group nodded awkwardly.
Safari and Angeleva looked at each other, then looked away.
Safari muttered. "Well, uh... this is embarrassing."
Angeleva sighed. "Agreed."
Legend nodded. "That's why you two need space to figure things out. Whether you end up together or not, it's your decision. No one else's."
Safari and Angeleva fell silent, deep in thought.
The group, now respecting Legend's words, reluctantly backed off.
Legend declared the matchmaking efforts over.
"This matter is settled. If they fall in love, it will happen naturally. No more interference."
The group accepted itāsome happily, some disappointed.
Ian sighed. "Guess I'll have to focus on another big story."
Zack chuckled. "At least we tried."
Olive smirked. "I knew this was a bad idea from the start."
Jen smiled. "Let's just let things happen as they should."
With that, the group moved on, leaving Safari and Angeleva to sort out their own feelings.
Safari and Angeleva sat in silence, the weight of unspoken words heavier than any battle they had fought.
For a long time, neither of them spoke. The night sky above Hellsgate burned with an eerie glow, the remnants of the battles they had endured still lingering.
Finally, Angeleva broke the silence.
"Do you really love me?"
Safari's eyes widened slightly. He hadn't expected her to ask so directly.
But running away wasn't an option. Not from this.
With a slow, hesitant nod, he admitted, "Yeah... I do."
He then looked at her and countered the question.
"And you? Do you feel the same?"
Angeleva's wings trembled slightly, her fingers clenching the hem of her dress. After a long pause, she exhaled, finally lowering her guard.
"Yes... I do."
