Chapter 161: No More Fighting Alone

The battlefield fell silent for a heartbeat.
Dust drifted through the air. Safari and Angeleva stood side by side—battered, bloodied, but unbroken.

Across from them, Gregory and Patricia strolled forward, smirking.

Gregory twirled his Devil Mace like it was weightless, his grin dark.
“You two look like you’ve been through hell…” His eyes burned orange. “…but did you really think we were taking you seriously?”

Patricia landed with a scoff, brushing dust from her shoulder.
“Honestly, I was getting bored just faking it. We weren’t even warmed up, darlings.”

Safari and Angeleva exchanged a glance—shaken, but not afraid.

Gregory sneered.
“We were just playing. Testing if the so-called ‘Legend Warriors’ were even worth our time.”

In the God Sphere, silence struck the crowd like a blade.

Ian gasped. “What…?”
Clara clenched her teeth. “That wasn’t even serious!?”
Zack staggered forward. “But they’re already hurt… what more can they do!?”

On the battlefield, Patricia lazily drew her bow.
“We wanted to see if the married couple had any bite.” She winked mockingly. “Cute, but not impressive.”

Safari’s grip on his hammer tightened until his knuckles bled.
“You… monsters. We gave it everything—and you were just playing?”

Gregory’s grin widened. His mace slammed into the stone, sending cracks racing across the ground.
“Exactly. But now that we know you’re not completely worthless—” his voice boomed, “—we’ll start taking this seriously.”

Patricia’s eyes gleamed with malice.
“This time… no games.”

In Hellsgate, panic spread like fire.

Darry punched the ground. “They weren’t even serious!?”
Tyra snarled. “If Gregory and Patricia fight for real… then—”
Ian’s voice trembled as he narrated, “…this isn’t a battle anymore. It’s survival.”

But then—Legend’s voice rang through Safari and Angeleva’s minds. Calm. Unyielding.

“Do not despair. You’ve withstood their mockery. Now rise through their arrogance. Their overconfidence will be their undoing.”

Safari staggered forward, armor cracked, blood dripping. But his voice was steady, his gaze unshaken.
“You may not have fought seriously…” He raised the Devil Hammer, green fire sparking. “…but we weren’t fighting for your respect.”

Angeleva stepped beside him, faintly glowing pink.
“We fight for everyone who still believes in good. For our family. For love.”

Safari leveled his weapon.
“And if we weren’t worth your time before—” his voice thundered, “—then you’d better make time now. Because we’re not done.”

The skies over Planet Satan darkened, not from clouds but from the crushing weight of power.

Gregory and Patricia’s smirks faded.

“No more games,” Gregory growled, his mace igniting with blazing orange energy. “Let’s end this.”

The clash erupted in a storm of destruction—
Devil Mace Smash!
A shockwave of orange fury ripped the ground apart.

Devil Hammer Smash!
Safari’s counterstrike met it, but was overwhelmed—he was hurled through pillars of stone.

Devil Mace Shock!
Gregory’s pulse of energy froze Safari’s body in agony.

Above, Patricia’s bow shimmered with corruption.
Fairy Barrage!
A storm of arrows rained down.

Fairy Barrier! Angeleva blocked the first wave—
—but the second pierced through, slashing her leg.

Patricia’s grin widened.
“Not bad. Try this—”
Fairy Corruption Beam!

“Fairy Justice Beam!” Angeleva countered—
—but the pink light was consumed, the explosion hurling her into rubble.

Safari roared, forcing himself upright.
“Devil Hammer Incineration!”
Green fire burst beneath Gregory—who merely laughed.

“Good effort. My turn—”
Devil Mace Swing!
The strike cracked into Safari’s ribs, blood spraying as he dropped to his knees.

Angeleva crawled from the ruins, wings torn, voice shaking.
“I won’t fall… not yet.”

Fairy Dagger Storm! A thousand blades of light swirled toward Patricia—
But Patricia blurred.
Fairy Agility!
She appeared behind Angeleva.
Fairy Exploding Shot!
A violet blast struck point-blank, sending Angeleva screaming toward the ground.

“They’re losing!” Zack’s voice broke.
Ian’s narration wavered. “They’re giving everything… and it’s still not enough.”
Jen clutched Olive, sobbing. “Don’t you dare give up…”
Legend’s eyes narrowed. “On the brink… but not broken yet.”

Safari crawled to Angeleva’s side. Both bloodied. Barely standing. Gregory and Patricia loomed, grinning.

“Fun while it lasted,” Gregory mocked. “Now—die together like good little lovers.”

Safari locked eyes with Angeleva. Rage. Defiance. Love.
He roared and hurled his hammer.
Devil Hammer Throw!
But Gregory swatted it aside with ease.

Devil Mace Swing!
The blow thundered into Safari’s chest, hurling him across the battlefield.

“Now that was satisfying,” Gregory grinned.

Angeleva forced herself into the sky. Her voice cracked, but she shouted:
Fairy Beam!
Fairy Lance!

Patricia dodged effortlessly.
“So predictable.”
Fairy Trap!
A ring of arrows encircled Angeleva—then detonated in a deafening BOOM!

She crashed beside Safari, broken.

Desperation consumed them. They staggered up—charging recklessly. One toward Gregory. One toward Patricia.

They were smashed down again. Harder.

“They’ll get themselves killed!” Zack cried.
Olive shouted through tears: “You’re stronger together! Don’t forget that!”

Then—Legend’s voice cut through the despair.

“That’s not the way. Safari. Angeleva. Remember the path I taught you.”

Their eyes widened. Memory flooded back—

The Synchronisation.

Safari’s voice shook. “Angeleva… no more fighting alone.”
She smiled, weak but certain. “Together. Always.”

Their hands clasped.
Green and pink auras intertwined, pulsing as one.

“No more fear,” Safari whispered.
“No more apart,” Angeleva answered.

From Hellsgate, the watchers gasped as the synchronized aura lit the sky.

Zack shouted, “They’re finally doing it!”
Ian cried, “This is the moment I’ve waited to document!”
Legend’s voice resonated like a vow:
“You are no longer two fighters. You are one soul in two bodies. Show them.”

Back on the battlefield—

Patricia’s smirk faltered. “What is this glow?” Gregory snarled. “Synchronization… damn them!” Safari surged forward. Devil Hammer Slice! Angeleva wrapped it in spiraling pink light— Fairy Radiance Wrap! BOOM! Gregory’s barrier cracked wide open. “Fairy Barrage!” Patricia’s storm of arrows tore forward— “Fairy Bloom Shield!” Angeleva spun her wand, petals swirling, blocking them all. Safari vaulted the shield— Jumping Hammer Blow! Patricia was smashed into debris. She retaliated with Fairy Corruption Beam!— But Safari leapt in, hammer blazing— Devil Hammer Explosion! The collision shook the heavens. Safari faltered— Until Angeleva caught his arm. “Together!” Their energies merged—blasting the corruption beam harmlessly into the sky. They moved as one. Gregory lunged for a sneak attack—blinded by Angeleva’s Fairy Radiance! Safari charged. Sappy Meteor Crash! His legendary headbutt smashed into Gregory’s jaw, staggering him. Patricia drew her bow—Angeleva’s Fairy Lance! pierced through, knocking her from the air. “They’re unstoppable now!” Zack cried. Jen wept into Olive’s shoulder. “They’re finally in sync!” Tyra roared, “End it! Show them unity’s strength!” Angeleva rose high, wings blazing. Fairy Blossom Strike! A storm of radiant petals spiraled downward. Safari’s aura surged. Devil Hammer Incineration! Green fire engulfed his weapon. Together— The combined strike tore the battlefield apart in a pink-and-green blooming inferno. Gregory and Patricia staggered from the smoke. Armor cracked. Wings scorched. “They’re getting stronger…” Patricia hissed. Gregory growled. “That damn sync… they’re feeding off each other!” Safari raised his hammer. Devil Blast! Gregory’s barrier shattered as he skidded back, boots grinding furrows in the earth. “Now, Angeleva!” Safari roared. Fairy Blossom Kick! Her glowing strike bloomed across Patricia’s chest—magical flowers sprouting inside, forcing a scream from her lips. Gregory’s eyes blazed. “What did you do to her!?” Angeleva descended, steady, eyes fierce. “It’s over. Stop this.” But Gregory lifted Patricia to her feet. Fury. Madness. “You think we’ll fall that easily!?” Patricia smirked through the pain. “You’re strong now… but we haven’t even started getting serious.” They stood again. Still mocking. Still dangerous.
