A tsunami roared across the edges of Soluna as Aquadrown made his entrance.
Water gushed through the streets β more destructive than Hellfire's flames and more invasive than Toxica's poison.
Buildings crumbled under the weight of the sudden flood.
Civilians screamed, scrambling to find higher ground β only to be cut off by rising walls of water.
Aquadrown stood at the center of the chaos β a tidal vortex swirling around him. His eyes, as cold as the ocean depths, scanned the city with disdain.
"I am not like the others," he declared, his voice resonating through the water. "I am the ocean's fury β unyielding, unstoppable."
Before the tidal wave could crash down on the people β
A beam of Lunar light split the sky.
And there she was β
Rei.
Her hatchets gleamed with dark blue light β the water steaming as droplets evaporated from their touch.
"You won't destroy this city," Rei said, stepping forward. This time her voice wasn't cold, rather it had emotions even if a slight bit.
Aquadrown's lips curled into a smirk.
"And you won't stop me."
The battle began.
_ _ _
The fight was different this time.
From the very first clash, it was clear β Aquadrown was the strongest of the commanders.
Water Whips lashed out, cutting through the air β faster and stronger than Toxica's attacks.
Aqua Geysers burst from the ground, forcing Rei to leap and dodge constantly.
Tidal Spheres trapped her in moving orbs of water, attempting to drown her mid-battle.
Rei fought back with everything she had β
"Lunar Crescent Slice"
"Lunar Shield"
"Lunar Boomerang"
But irrespective of her battle against Toxicaβ
Rei realized...
She was at a disadvantage.
Water dulled her lunar attacks.
And Aquadrown wasn't holding back.
The Solunar people β the very ones she had fought to protect β now fought to protect her with cheers and putting there entire faith on her.
As Aquadrown's water threatened to flood the entire city β
Henry and Marie led the civilians to higher ground.
Solar and Lunar soldiers, inspired by Rei's resilience, worked together β creating a mix of solar and lunar shields to push back the water.
Some civilians, despite their fear, gathered what little strength they had β forming barricades, helping the wounded, and standing by Rei's side. They weren't just cheering but they were trying to be of use to her.
Their unity didn't just push back the flood β
It strengthened Rei's resolve even further.
That alone led her to adapt and evolve her tactics even further to clash equally with Aquadrown.
Aquadrown himself smirked. "Hmm! Just moments ago you were struggling and now it seems we are equals but don't you think everything would work the exact same way as previous."
After minutes of stalling...
Aquadrown prepared his ultimate attack sighing. "Sorry! I was having fun sparring with you but I can't play with you forever. I have to end it fast."β
Aqua Maelstrom β a colossal water tornado designed to swallow all of Soluna.
Rei, sensing the danger, drew upon every ounce of her Lunar power.
But this time β it wasn't just her power.
It was their power.
The people's hope.
Their faith in her.
With her hatchets glowing brighter than ever β she combined her Lunar energy with the Solar energy in the air β
Creating a fusion attack:
"LUNAR CRESCENT SPECIAL FINISH!"
A wave of solar and lunar energy erupted crashing into Aquadrown's maelstrom.
Aquadrown said "Your petty attacks can't crack it."
With that his attack started pushing even her combined strength.
Rei muttered. "No, I can't stop here. I can't let Soluna drown! I will protect it and by defeating you, I have to bring justice."
She pushed with determination but it wasn't enough.
That's when Henry and Marie emerged and used there combined solar and lunar energies to support her.
Rei stared at them clearly expressing that they don't need to be involved.
But Marie gave a look that clearly indicated we aren't backing down.
Rei understood there resolve and pushed with more power and will, her powers slowly getting amplified.
Aquadrown slowly felt a push in his direction. "Impossible. Am I imagining it? Why won't she just go down?"
As if that wasn't enough, the Solar and Lunar people watching it also volunteered to help.
"We will work together to save our planet."
"Even if it comes at the cost of our lives."
"We won't let our saviour take all the credits this time. We will share it."
Rei was getting more and more energized as getting inspired by Henry and Marie, the Solunar people were working together as one using there feelings and power even though little.
But these little fragments of hope was getting larger as time passed.
There were more people joining and encouraging each other to protect Soluna.
There hearts were united.
Looking at Henry, Marie and the Solunar people working together personally made Rei feel even stronger than her previous battles.
It was not just Acceptance.
Not just hope.
Not even loyalty.
It was the power of unity that incrementally boosted Rei's attack as it slowly but gradually started gaining an edge over Aquadrown.
Aquadrown muttered in disbelief. "No, impossible.. how..how can...my strongest attack flop?"
That was the opening that the United alliance didn't hesitate to miss .
They all called out in unison. "Here we go. Taste the true wrath of Soluna."
Rei was energized and pushed her attack with even more power and combined strength of the alliance.
Aquadrown was taken aback by the volume of the attack which not only overwhelmed his maelstrom but also hit him harder than a meteor sending him spiraling through the air β slamming him into a crumbling tower.
And when the water finally calmed β
He lay fallen, massive holes erupting from his shark like body.
He was Silenced and unmoving.
As Rei stood over Aquadrown's motionless form (and the people behind her celebrating there victory)β her breathing ragged, her body barely able to stand β she felt it.
That same, familiar presence.
She turned β
And there he was.
Mighty Fighter.
His white mask glimmered in the aftermath, his cloak still and unbothered by the chaos around him.
"I knew you were watching again," Rei said softly, her voice calm but firm.
"You've been there... every time."
Mighty Fighter tilted his head slightly β his silent acknowledgment almost like a smile beneath the mask.
"You are perceptive," he replied.
Rei's eyes narrowed.
"What is your purpose?"
For a moment β silence.
Then β
"To check your strength," Mighty Fighter said simply.
Rei's fists clenched.
"You're their leader... aren't you?"
Mighty Fighter nodded.
"I am."
The realization hit Rei hard β but she refused to waver.
"Then you're my enemy."
A small pause β before Mighty Fighter gave an almost approving nod.
"Our battle will take place in two days."
He slowly extended his hand, revealing a small glowing sphere β its surface swirling with cosmic coordinates.
"On this isolated planet."
The sphere hovered into Rei's hand.
His voice softened β almost intrigued.
"Let's see if you are as strong as I believe."
And with a final flick of his cloak β
He vanished.
Leaving Rei alone β preparing for the most important battle of her life.
While Henry and Marie were busy joining the celebration with the citizens, they had no idea about Rei's conversation with Mighty Fighter.
Meanwhile...
On the distant planet of Voltaris β a world once vibrant with glowing forests and sparkling rivers β darkness now reigned.
The sky cracked with constant lightning, and the air buzzed with electric tension.
At the heart of the planet's largest city stood Electro's fortress β an ominous spire of black metal, pulsating with electric currents that arced like living snakes.
Once a trusted elite commander of Dark Void β Electro had abandoned his master, craving something more than blind obedience.
Individuality.
Freedom.
But his version of freedom had a price β ruling Voltaris with an iron grip, forcing its people to worship his power.
The citizens lived in fear β their lives dictated by the whims of Electro's ever-sparking rage.
Until now.
Because hope had arrived β not from one warrior β but three legendary figures.
Heatsun β the blazing Solar guardian.
Moonsalt β the cool Lunar protector.
And their son β Jim.
The battle was swift and explosive.
Edward and his cadets led the charge β clashing against Electro's electric soldiers β warriors clad in suits that crackled with energy, their every move a spark of deadly precision.
Edward's voice boomed like thunder.
"For Voltaris! Fight for your freedom!"
His cadets β disciplined and fierce β fought back the electric soldiers with calculated strikes.
The electric soldiers' weapons, forged from raw energy, clashed against the cadets' swords and shields. Sparks flew with every hit.
In the center of the battlefield β Edward faced Electro's toughest fighter β Boltstorm.
A towering figure of pure electric fury β Boltstorm crackled with unstable energy, his every step causing the ground to vibrate.
Their battle raged β energy beams against steel β as Edward's blade deflected bolt after bolt.
But this wasn't just a war of brawn β it was a battle of belief.
Edward fought not just for victory β but to inspire the Voltaris people.
While Edward and the cadets battled the electric forces β
Heatsun and Moonsalt focused on the most critical task β protecting the people.
Heatsun used Solar Barrierβ creating barriers of molten light to defend citizens from stray bolts of electricity.
Moonsalt summoned Lunar Veils β cloaks of moonlight that guided the frightened people to safety, shielding them from harm.
One young child stumbled, paralyzed by fear as electric energy danced dangerously close β but before the spark could strike β
Heatsun appeared.
With a wave of his hand β a Solar Barrier flared to life β disintegrating the bolt instantly.
He knelt beside the child, his voice firm but gentle.
"You're safe now. Go β we'll protect you."
Moonsalt led the child and others away, her calm yet commanding presence giving them the courage to run.
Their goal wasn't just to stop Electro's rule β
It was to save every innocent life caught in his storm.
At the heart of the fortress β where electric currents snaked across the walls β Jim finally stood face-to-face with Electro.
The ex-commander's form shimmered with unstable energy β his body seemingly made of crackling lightning.
"Dark Void was a fool," Electro sneered, his voice a low hum of electricity. "I refused to be a puppet to his endless conquest."
Jim's grip tightened around his Solun Lance β its blade glowing with both Solar and Lunar energy.
"And instead, you became a tyrant here."
Electro's lips curled into a grin.
"Better a tyrant than a slave."
Without warning β Electro attacked.
Lightning Chains shot from his fingertips β lashing out like glowing whips.
Electric Clones split from his form β flickering copies that mimicked his moves.
Thunder Blades β arcs of lightning sharpened into weapons β slashed through the air.
Jim dodged with astonishing speed β his Grey Warrior form radiating a balanced aura of Solar and Lunar power.
With a flick of his wrist β his Solun Lance deflected the Lightning Chains, sending shocks rippling through the air.
He spun β slicing through the Electric Clones β causing them to burst into static.
The battle raged.
Jim's Grey Warrior form allowed him to shift between Solar offense and Lunar defense with fluidity:
Solar Slash β a blazing strike of the Solun Lance β burned through Electro's thunder shields.
Lunar Converge β a defensive wave of moonlight β absorbed and neutralized Electric blasts.
Solun Finish β Jim's signature move β combining both elements, forming a rotating barrier of Solar and Lunar energy.
With each move β the people of Voltaris watched in awe.
For years β they had only seen Electro's power β believing him unstoppable.
But now β they saw Jim.
A warrior of balance β light and darkness, day and night.
And for the first time β they had hope.
Electro, growing desperate, unleashed his strongest attack β
Lightning Storm Prison β a massive electric cage that crackled and closed in from all sides.
Jim didn't flinch.
Instead β
He raised his Solun Lance β gathering Solar and Lunar energy until it merged into a swirling sphere of glowing power.
The light illuminated the dark fortress β blindingly bright.
"SOLUN OVERDRIVE!"
With a single, powerful thrust β
Jim pierced through the electric prison β shattering it in a blinding explosion of energy.
The force sent Electro flying across the battlefield β crashing him into his own electric throne.
His energy flickered β sparks dimming β his power broken.
Jim approached slowly β his Solun Lance still glowing.
Electro, defeated, stared up at him β not with hatred β but with a strange sense of respect.
"You... are strong," he muttered. "Stronger than I thought."
Jim didn't respond.
He simply lowered his lance.
With Electro's defeat β his fortress's electric defenses crumbled.
The skies, once crackling with endless lightning β slowly calmed.
The people of Voltaris saw clear skies.
Edward, Heatsun, and Moonsalt rejoined Jim β the people cheering, their chains of fear finally broken.
A young girl, the same one Heatsun had saved, looked up at Jim with wide eyes.
"You saved us..." she whispered.
Jim, his Grey Warrior form fading, gave her a small smile.
"We saved you."
The people erupted in cheers β chanting Jim's name.
But deep down β Jim wasn't celebrating.
His mind drifted back to Rei β
How she is doing against the elite commanders?
After a Day...
Jim, Heatsun, and Moonsalt arrived back at Heatsun's base after their hard-fought battle on Voltaris.
The air still buzzed with tension, not from the remnants of their victory β but from the uncertain future ahead.
The base, fortified with both Solar and Lunar technology, stood tall β a beacon of defense against Dark Void's forces.
But the moment they stepped inside β
They were met with distressed faces.
Henry and Marie β usually calm and composed β looked pale, their eyes wide with worry.
Jim's brows furrowed instantly.
"What happened?" he demanded. "Did Rei... betray us while we were gone?"
The words hung in the air like a bitter storm cloud.
Marie shook her head sharply. "No... it's not that."
Henry motioned for them to follow β leading them down a corridor toward the training chambers.
The sound of fierce combat echoed through the corridor before they even reached the door.
When they stepped inside β
They saw Rei.
Sweat dripping.
Her breathing ragged.
But her eyes β blazing with determination.
She was fighting against a dozen simulation drones β each one programmed to mimic the attacks of the commanders she had already defeated:
Hellfire's blazing flame strikes
Toxica's venomous whips and illusions
Aquadrown's brutal water-based assaults
Despite already besting them β Rei was relentlessly pushing herself β countering their moves over and over again β but tweaking her responses every time β testing new ways to strike, dodge, and counterattack.
Jim, still processing what he was seeing, stepped forward.
"Rei... what are you doing?"
Rei didn't stop β flipping through the air to dodge a fire strike, then slashing through an electric clone with a beam of Lunar energy.
"I'm training," she replied through gritted teeth.
Jim's eyes narrowed. "Why like this? You already beat them."
Finally, after a final spinning Lunar Blast β Rei destroyed the last of the simulation drones.
She stood there β chest heaving β fists clenched.
